I get it, the US has a massive welfare inefficiency problem. I'm calling for compassion for people who do need it, because genuine people in need (be it White, nigger, red, yellow) don't deserve to be lumped in one basket purely because malicious actors abuse the system. Do you get it yet?

The bug you're arguing with did mention a few posts ago he agrees that welfare isn't inherently bad, just the niggers who abuse it. I'm not sure why you two are still cluttering up this thread with the back and forth.

Oh yeah that's another great subsistence item. Dry beans in bulk and a ham hock or ham bone if you pick buying a ham as one of your staples. That and an onion or two and some minimal herbs and spices and you can easily make crock pot ham and beans that will last you a week for practically nothing.

You can even get fancy and take some of the beans out and blend them and add them back in and reduce the liquid by about half to make it more of a stew than a soup. For luxury, top with some chopped green onions. And from scratch, cornbread is practically free. Even buying Jiffy or something is cheap as hell.

I'm not endorsing that particular "plan" as the best, in fact I'd make a number of changes. It's just unlikely to kill you and if you're only spending $25 on it (optimistic) you're probably eating pretty little every day. That's why I prefer a rice and beans based model with some kind of protein in it for the base meal.
