It is not Pessimistic, its simply reality, unless there's some sort of miracle the fact of the matter is set, if I want a motherfucker to be 30 years old, 30 years from now, he has to be born today, this is the simple aspect of the birthrate that people fail to grasp. That's the pessimistic outcome, and unfortunately the most likely. Then the option for a government that has an interest to feather off the fall in the interest of stability is to deflate controlled, or die when the realization happens. Somebody is going to hold the hot potato and another coof charade with poorly covered bail out is probably not going to fly for another 10 - 15 years. Thats too late
as long as the economic and social situations continue, and the eonomic ones WILL only get worse, the birthrate will get worse, and what causes a birthrate collapse to get worse? hilariously a birthrate collapse!
then there will be massive issues in who does the work needed as things skew towards the population being massively Old, and then unknown shit will happen that I'm actually pessimistic on, at that point I can only speculate that things will get so bad and dystopic that we can't even imagine them.
the only rational, logical answer? run.
