My health insurance would be $300 dollars a pay period if not for my Union. I pay $50 dollars a pay period for my health insurance bc of the union. Imagine not being in a Union in 2025 and actively fucking yourself in the ass bc you don't want to pay $15-$20 union dues or loathe the fact we ostracize non union coworkers.

If you aren't in the union you're not only fucking yourself but your fucking your coworkers. Corporations ALWAYS start cost cutting hourly employees first via benefits, layoffs, or refusing to raise wages properly to match SOL.

I don’t know where you live but where I live unions basically exist to funnel money from working tradesmen to people who retired 15 years ago. Who then turn around and give massive amounts of donos to the Democratic Party.

But it still in fact is, a lie for my own benefit to pretend that 99*80 needs to be broken down. The thought process is 'oh that's 7920'. Breaking it down in multiple ways does not mean that was my thought processes.

I can also be like, oh if we isolate the 9s and 8s its just saying 72 with 2 00s +72 with 1 0 so we add 7200 + 720 to get 7920 too. But no matter what I say it will be a lie for my own benefit. My explanation there was that it teaches you honesty is not how anyone wins on earth. A valuable lesson to learn that early in life.

Are you in a closed shop state? The Bennie’s aren’t nearly as bad you describe for none union people in open shop states.

Idk man I think it’s very much a regional thing. In some parts of the country you would be an idiot to not join a union, in other parts you’d be an idiot to join. I can only speak for the union I was a part of but they didn’t fight for us, they fought for people who haven’t worked since the late 90d

That's just how math is taught in the US. It's heavily memorization based, so the solve the problem you have to recite the steps back exactly. I have a math degree so I had to take a lot of shitty classes.

$20 a pay period. Four pay checks in a week. $80 a month. $80 times 12 cause 12 months in a year. $960/Year.
 
At least the actively try to improve my QoL as opposed to the Republican and Democrat parties.

People take hours out of their day to vote for politicians that bring in immigrants to supress wages for free.

This is unions in most industries right now. Along with most western governments. It’s fun to laugh at the food stamps crowd, but they’re really small potatoes compared to the boomers who voted themselves enormous bennies and are now siphoning off the younger generation’s labor.

They even had their own chimp out when the bennies were even a tiny bit threatened, the “No Kings” protests.

I wonder if the elderly mooching faggots and niggers will explicitly team up to enslave us. Or if that’s already what is happening.

EDIT; can you unionize against your union? Create a competing union that strikes until you don’t have to pay out retirement benefits when you’ll never get the same treatment when you are old?

Idk, I'm also in the UAW so I have mixed feelings about it. It pays more than anything for non trade work in appalachia, and most of the workers themselves are very Republican..Sean Fain is the new leader, and he is so two faced it isn't even funny. He would wear ear the rich shirts and was vehemently anti Trump UNTIL Trump said steel would be bought here and Fain loves tarriffs. Disregarding fighting the union reps on the floor everyday, we make almost 40 an hour while minimum wage is like..8, so.
