I hate to tell you this, but nothing is going to happen. Trump has said he's not going to negotiate until Democrats pass a continuing resolution to end the shutdown, and the Democrats are too afraid of looking like cowards to back down, so the only options left are:
1. The Republicans vote to end the filibuster and push through their agenda, ending the shutdown without having to consult the Democrats.
2. The government shutdown continues and Trump becomes the locus of blame, not just for people on EBT but for retailers as well, culminating in a Walmart-branded assassin blowing his head off for fucking with inventory shrink.
