Not a yank, if this happens, the news might actually be worth watching, instead of fucking Israel and Palestine being shoved down my throat 24/7. Be interesting to see how sanitised the chimp outs are presented. Personally I think it's disgusting how welfare/benefits for disabled and workers who are poor have been homogenised with the welfare/benefits for the disgusting leeches who are able to, yet never worked a day in their life due to "mental illnesses" or other bollocks. You get it in the UK, entire families on gibs due to "anxiety".

Regardless, the plural of anecdote isn't evidence, but I know loads of people on gibs (fat cunts on mobility, smack rats who get priority for council housing, alcoholics who ask for money for milk with a can in their hand etc etc) and quite frankly it's got to the point where I wouldn't piss on the parasites if they were on fire. I assume this is similar in the USA, so fuck em. Good food isn't that expensive, they're just lazy fat fucks.

To be honest I'm pretty sure Democrats on average have no idea how badly the EBT program is run and genuinely believe it's solely helping the elderly and disabled and people who temporary fell on hard times, not being used to fund multi-generational welfare recipients that get thousands of dollars while the former groups get a pittance that is often little more then a slap in the face. I wouldn't put it past them to be so high on their own propaganda that they haven't got a fucking clue of what's really happening.

They might be in for a shock.

I'm uncertain if that trick will work again. During the first Trump term there was the Summer of Love and mass rioting and whatever and the general population was frightened and confused, and then the Democrats claimed that Biden was a "return to normalcy." However, things got measurably worse under Biden, to the point where people voted Trump back and things started getting better. I think a lot of people realised they were tricked, and are just going to ride out the temper tantrums and continue to vote Republican.

I always seen cope that living in poverty causes fatness because of no access to healthy food for cooking due the cost but... if you are on EBT, you literally don't have to pay for it. The gibs will provide. They literally choose to engorge themselves with garbage like the over indulging swine that they are.

Poverty is correlated with obesity in the US and has been for the last 100 years. No one is starving without food stamps. Private charity filled the role before and it could now.

You get what you subsidize. If you give dumb people free money for food and no limits on what they get, while simultaneously subsidizing high fructose corn syrup in the Farm Bill, making those middle aisle goyslop snack foods cheap as hell, amazingly, you end up with fat fucks.

50lb of white rice and a rice cooker can be purchased for 50-100 dollars. Buy some mince meat on special and freeze it. Cook in butter with your favorite spices.

with the Old, its fine, they likely already proved their worth, and with the feeble, its understandable, but plenty of them are just people who will, and always have been, worthless, a drain, some minor injury they used to get full-time disability on a technicality, or w/e, they are the vast majority on the system, and they take the most, just as you say.

If you life is predicated on infinite free charity and housing, you are always at the mercy and stipulation of what's giving that to you, and the worst one to be on the doll from, is the fucking Government, as they will cut you off simply to move their little chessgame around, I'm fucking sick of the learned helpless, I had to crawl through 2 football fields of proverbial shit, and guess what, most of them could too, figure it the fuck out.

Moreover, we do try this in contexts like rehabilitating the homeless, and it ends up being far more expensive per person than it costs to support ordinary poor people by giving them money.

In historical times in some places the elderly and infirm would walk into the woods or jump off a cliff when they became too difficult for their family to care for, but now we have generations of absolutely useless people. I don't think it's sustainable, and eventually people will realise there is no reason to keep them alive.
