Fine, anyone have suggestions to best survive this mess? When and where to buy? Advice besides to carry a pistol, etc.
Honestly?
Keep your head down and mind your business.
If you need to shop, get in, get what you need and leave.
Avoid crowds where nonsense looks like it's about to pop off.
If you see a spicy looking crowd going down your street, alert the authorities and hope it passes you by.
As for getting food when you have no money, food banks and churches. You have internet so look around your area and see what's available. Don't act like it's a bad thing or you're above it,
no one is so get over yourself.
Plan to donate to the organizations that help you later when you have funds again.
Get cheap but filling things. Oatmeal, corn flakes, rice, potatoes, milk, dry beans, peanut butter etc etc. Buy a bottle of multivitamins if you worry about micronutrients.
Most importantly for making food last?
Learn what a portion of food looks like, and only eat that much.
This will make cereal a lot less fun btw.
Good luck, impoverished Kiwis! You all have brains, please use them for something besides zombie food!
