This has already been alluded to, but these are just numbers of recipients. Not every recipient gets the same amount. On average, every little niglet in the household bumps up the recipient's SNAP amount by 160 dollars per month, and does not count as an extra recipient. 63% of black children are in single-parent households, while 24% of white children are (when leaving out beaners).

The USDA does not report actual amount of SNAP paid out by ethnicity, but you can probably put two and two together here.

Well, no, ebt refers to a debit card, snap is the name of the program and foodstamps refers to the paper stamps they used to hand out for snap benefits prior to going electronic. EBT just describes the method of transaction, electronic bank transfer, most people get their checks through ebt too. The only reason food stamps isn't used any more is snap benefits are no longer little pieces of paper. This actually makes the program worse btw, as before you used to have to. Stamps other than food stamps used to be able to be exchanged like real money way back in the day too. It's sorta like recycling collectors back in the 90s who would pay you 10 cents a can. Back then it was "don't throw that out it's worth money." Now it's "don't throw that out, well ok, but not in the one with they yucky landfill stuff, only the clean landfill stuff." It's funny looking back just how quick things got enshittified so deep too. Early 2000s McDonalds had gamecubes in their playplaces. Now they don't even have a play place.

I just saw a white woman bitching that a food pantry had the audacity of giving her a massive amount of varied and healthy food instead of goyslop. Yes, I want her to suffer in particular. And yes, I want her kids to suffer the pain of learning not to be picky eaters.

I don't want to hear about how hard it is to eat healthy in America and how it's not actually poor people's fault for being obese when all I hear is complaining that you were given healthy food for free. By the way- if anyone is in need of food, look into your city to see if there's places that have food lines, depending on your state, if that happens. You can also do food banks, but if there are local places in your city that might have food lines that give away free food that's donated to the city by stores, look into those.

A lot of them do it weekly and they don't have limits once a month. Usually all they ask of you is your address to prove you live in whatever city offers this.

Problem is that once people catch on to the food bank, more people show up even when they really do not need the help. Several American friends have told me this happening. Gatekeep.
