I asked an AI program to do this, and it just explained why electronic payments are better than paper cheques.

People always talk about buying candy with EBT, but it seems the issue is them not buying local sweets. This system works because it circulates through the local economy… but you can’t necessitate purchases from local businesses. You cannot ban purchases from multinational conglomerates, because to do either of these things would be dehumanizing.

To play devil’s advocate, you could argue that paying for their morning coffee order allows them to save money for larger purchases. Larger purchases like, say, furniture from a local artisan. Still, that’s just a guess and not based on anything I’ve seen or heard of.

I didn't grow up around them, but after speaking to rural American whites about the topic I believe their contention lies in the fact that niggers are violent apes that turn wherever they live into garbage-strewn coontowns, and several centuries of trying to civilize them have failed due to biological reality.

Because of this your apples and bowling balls comparison does not stand up to scrutiny. White American crime rate is very low once you extract hispanic people calling themselves white (it's lower than most European nations in fact). Additionally for a very long time, places like China or Japan had a much lower levels of advancement than basically all white nations. Singapore advanced due to British occupation; Japan advanced due to being bombed; China advanced after being saved from Japan and striking a deal wherein it uses slave labor to manufacture things.

I understand being a zoomer has deprived you of the historical context that reveals most of Asia is only first-world nowadays due to the direct intervention of white people, however. You probably think things like skyscrapers, trains, computers and toilet paper were invented in Beijing thanks to Tiktok.

at least that was the rules where i was circa 2009.

i know that during times of crisis there has been allowances for fast food. such as during hurricane katrina.

I made a giant tardpost about this earlier already, but this is just another example of why you cannot just stare at dollar transactions and consider that to be your gross domestic product. Three people passing a $100 bill from hand to hand can literally generate infinite GDP if we just stare at fake jewdollar figures. This is the most prevalent source of error in layman economic analyses.
 
EBT has created a bunch of choosy beggars, even apparent in this thread.
People aren’t worried about if they’ll have food or not; they’re worried that they’ll have to buy off brand or less junk and fast food.
A loaf of whole wheat bread at the food pantry might be nearing its expiration date, but it’s still edible as long as there isn’t mold growing on it.
It might also cause more people to actually cook in a kitchen, instead of relying on convenience foods, which were implied for people who actually could use less time out of their work or school day than cooking dinner.
