EBT has rolled over monthly since the 90s. They give you a max that you can reach usually, however some states do not.
The max can usually change based upon your family size. If you have dependents whether they are children or adults, they boost your max. This is why you see a ton of these Shaniqua-Kongs with 5-6 kids and talking about getting EBT in the thousands.

Government insurance, SNAP, and unemployment work in a trifecta and are streamlined as shit with one another. I worked within the healthcare department and moved up into claims investigations back in the day and you will find that there is a ton of abuse of SNAP benefits and other free services that will have you calling to report other issues where people start abusing their healthcare programs. If it bridges into a SNAP program, then I would have to call SNAP and verify if they got the money legitimately and why and what its uses are limited to.

First the Democrats thought that Republicans didn't have the balls to shut off EBT. Then, they realized that Republicans DO have the balls, but they thought it wouldn't matter, because Trump would get blamed. Now that they realize that Trump ISN'T getting blamed, they're trying to sue for the Department of Agriculture emergency fund, so they can say "We tried, we did our best" (We are here).

What the Democrats HAVEN'T realized is, whether they win or lose the lawsuit, it's still not enough to keep the EBT coming, and they will still be the ones who are blamed. The OTHER thing they haven't realized is, if their pets chimp out hard enough, SNAP will be reformed so austerely that it will be more like the food stamp/commodity days of the 1950s - 1980s, and they will be blamed for that too, especially by the big food corporations that will be funding Republican campaigns rather than Democrat campaigns, because they'll be able to lobby Republicans to be more generous with food programs, instead of funding Democrats who will just fuck things up and lose again.

No matter what happens next, Dems have lost the fight. It's only a matter of how badly they've lost, depending on what happens over the next few weeks.

I understand what some people are saying about those who actually need food stamps. Could be somebody that can't work, could be somebody with a run of bad luck and those poor keeds didn't choose to have lazy parents. That's reasonable.

I will absolutely not, however, allow this reasonable statement stop me from pointing and laughing at all of those tugboats getting sunk. If you're upset by that than get mad at white trash, get mad at illegals with stolen SSI numbers, get mad at "asylum seekers" here on bullshit reasons, get mad at nigs. In fact, everyone should be mad at these people all the time and hopefully this little event will help keep people mad at them. There should be a big red light that flashes when someone swipes a SNAP card so everyone can narrow their eyes at the store. A little shame would go a long way.
