Those images of cardboards filled with food along the "1/5, it doesn't include perishables and slop" is the best argument for restructuring welfare. Those people eat better than the lower tax bracket that funds them.
 
If there's one thing that all this drama has really made me realize even more, it's that people shouldn't have more kids than they can afford to take care of. This isn't the middle ages where people had tons of kids because of child mortality.
 
I wonder how this will affect All Hallow's Eve... I know some schools will hold a "food scare" (Kids donate food to those that need it.).
Will there be any changes I should look out for while walking out late at night alongside multiple children on October 31st? (That is if I were American.)
 
I would love to see income taxes slashed, but lets be real any money saved is going to Israel.

As for other government assistance, I think social security for the disabled is great because they're helpless and it's generally through no fault of their own, being a deathfat isn't a real disability so they shouldn't get any aid for that.

As for the elderly, they should have had kids. If you want to get birthrates up, then people need to be incentivised to have kids and have a good relationship with them so that one day those kids will care for them in their old age.
If you're 80 and you have nobody at all who would help you out in your golden years, that is absolutely your fault.

That is the vicious cycle of the post 1974 socialist pyramid scheme and adding "public consumption/spending" as a positive number to GDP. On paper it looks like productive economic growth, in reality its the exact opposite. If one would recalculate gdp growth over the past 50 years and consider public spending as a negative number, Germany and France would have been in economic depression for 35 years.

Edit. Prompted chat-gpt to give me numbers for the usa. The first attempt for a revision of gdp growth yoy since 1993 failed with gpt "thinking" for 5 minutes, starting to generate text which stated -70% economic growth compared to the usual way to calculate and then stopping to generate text, with the chat disappearing. Tried again for 2020-2024 and it stated for that time frame an average GDP growth yoy of -7%.

One or another way, the "public" spending assumed profits of the future that don't exist yet on whatever is only in the braindead world of socialist, including of course banks, "growth"

To think, Dems might've had a chance if the Harambe kid had a father. Unfortunately he had to look at the zoo for one. Democrats could have had it all, if only a nigger raised his own kids. I'm not saying that future is brighter, it's not. But Dems might still be around to enslave brown people they bring in from overseas or fuck up the economy if that gorilla never died. The ones that shouldn't be breeding are the ones breeding like rabbits, and the ones who should be breeding are waiting until they can afford kids (and then needing to get fertility treatments because they're in their 30s by the time they can afford to support a family)

Just boil it and mash it up to feed it to your kids, hunger is the best sauce.
 
Since everyone else is dumping their shit about welfare and such I thought I may as well throw mine out there too. I am pretty damn close to disabled. Damaged my back, having trouble fixing it due to weight gain. Can barely sit up some days. Whatever. I am a canadian. A moochers paradise. I could get something like ei/welfare or disability, and live very comfortably receiving nearly $2g from just disability alone. They would also pay for specialist to help me fix my back as well as lose weight. And if I had addictions, they would pay for that too.

However, I fucking hate moochers that live off the government teet. So, I bit the bullet, moved in with family, and do what I can around the house. I try not to be a burden on anyone, but life kicks you in the dick sometimes.

And before any of you come at me saying "your taxes paid into it though" you need to know, I have never paid taxes in my life lol.

That's one of the worst things, the fact that a lot of women will have more and more kids just to stay on welfare. I knew one woman who did this and in all the time I knew her, she had about six children, and never once did she have a job. Instead she sat around getting drunk. And one of daughters is now doing the same, although at least the daughter only has two.

Seriously, anyone who does this shit doesn't deserve to have kids.

The people whining about food stamps being cut off don't seem to grasp the concept that there's a difference between can't work, and won't work. I'm in favour of helping people who can't, but most of these people are just lazy, entitled assholes, who somehow can't feed themselves for less than 3K/month. "Oh, the government's cutting my food stamps back to $300/month? Guess I'm just going to starve to death!" Fuck off, you lazy cunt. Yeah, maybe you can't stuff your gob with family sized bags of Reese's Pieces every day, but you sure as Hell can afford some rice and veggies and meats. I think EBT/SNAP/whatever should exist, but be closely monitored to prevent abuse, and what it should cover should be tightly regulated to food with nutritional value and pantry staples. Your fellow taxpayers shouldn't be subsidizing your Mountain Dew and Oreos. You want cookies? Then you can get flour, eggs, and sugar, and bake them yourself
