He refused to negotiate at all and instead spun up a lying campaign to deceive people about why the government is shut down. It's up to the ruling party to figure out how to govern.

I have only used SNAP for a very short period of my life, during which I sold my stamps card for 50 cents to the dollar, to gooks and assorted well-off large families. I got 300/month. They paid me $150 to go shopping, maxed out then card in an evening and returned it to me within 1-2 hours. The cash I used to buy alcohol and meth.

Not really. It will be stayed nearly immediately, then overruled, possibly by the Supreme Court itself pointing out they said just two months ago that this specific kind of injunction wasn't allowed any more.
 
Can someone explain to me the legislative hierarchical clusterfuck that occurred here? How exactly two faggot fed judges can just tell what the entire government should be doing and have no repercussions for doing so? What even is so special about fed judges that they somehow hold more power like this? how effective would it be for the trump admin to simply point to the supreme court's ruling regarding this and continue on as normal?

You can control what’s done with it if you’re making them dine in. Otherwise there’d be people loading up in all the free meals daily and then selling it for profit- undercutting the restaurant, and possibly spreading sickness depending on how long they let it sit. Alfredo sauce isn’t known for its long shelf life.
TLDR- you can’t roll up w crying and hungry kids, leverage them for food, jerk the food away from the kids and sell it for crack or alcohol.

A lot of alcoholics are gonna be sick wo stamps to sell.
 
We may be starting a war in South America at the moment. Natural disasters can happen at any time. Economic disasters can strike at any time. Lots of different emergencies can happen. Is "Democrats want leverage to get policy they can't get otherwise because they didn't win elections so they aren't funding this but could literally any time they feel like it" really the only thing we can use this money for? Is there no executive discretion in the appropriation at issue here?
