undocumented immigrants are ineligible for federal welfare programs, this includes SNAP

the 2022 SIPP data you cited groups together all immigrants, including naturalized citizens and lawful permanent residents, so it does not isolate illegal immigrants

obviously fraud can occur, but its rare relative to total program use. SNAP fraud is tracked and prosecuted by the USDA office of inspector general, most verified cases involve misreporting income or household composition, not immigration status

plz read your own statistics before citing them

It's been a slow fall so far for the walleye, but it got waaay colder the last week and I'm sure the change in water temp is going to send them upriver towards the dams.

The pheasant count is higher than it's been in years, so I'm very optimistic about my prospects this Sunday. I'm just going to walk the level b roads with a friend of mine. No dog to bring with me, but the woods roads are usually not as hopeless to find a downed bird as the tall grass prairie fields are.
 
How do Illegal Immigrants use SNAP?

Legal immigrants and U.S. citizens pay more into public benefit programs through taxes than they consume in benefits.

I was going to lazily ask someone to do this and then remembered there's no free handouts in the SNAP thread. So for the few people slapfighting here over illegals who "don't" get these benefits. Here's how they get it.

  • An analysis by the Economic Policy Innovation Center has found that in fiscal year 2023, approximately 1.764 million non-citizens received SNAP benefits, costing taxpayers around $5.7 billion. The research draws on data gathered by the USDA.
  • Most of those granted some form of temporary protection from deportation—including DACA,
  • Temporary Protected Status, and asylum applicants – are ineligible for SNAP and therefore not among the 1.8 million noncitizen participants.
  • Ukrainian and Afghan parolees, however, can access SNAP without waiting, because of a congressional exemption.
  • Illegal immigrant households have especially high use of food programs, with 48 percent enrolled in one or more of these programs — SNAP, WIC, or school lunch/breakfast.
  • Illegal immigrants often receive welfare on behalf of U.S.-born children, and illegal immigrant children can receive school lunch/breakfast and WIC directly.
  • Some states provide Medicaid to illegal immigrants, and a few offer SNAP.
  • Several million illegal immigrants also have been issued Social Security numbers allowing them to receive cash payments from the earned income tax credit if they work.
  • ****This is not including people who do illegal things to acquire SNAP.
  • non-citizens made up about 4 percent of SNAP recipients in 2022, while representing roughly 6.5 percent of the U.S. population that year.

For my percapita niggas, this means almost 2/3rds of illegals are benefitting from SNAP while we pay for it.

Non federally, for Illegals, there are sometimes state-funded programs in cucked ass states, like California, which provide stuff for immigrants who cannot get federal aids.

This being said, obviously, more citizens than illegals are using the program given that, inshallah, there are more citizens than illegals. However, they still use it.

Summary

It's mostly legal children from illegal parents or refugees who use SNAP.

I'm glad to see proof because I am beyond sick of seeing the "illegals pay taxes and don't get SNAP" defense that people love to use.
