Why is it that every shitty meme nowadays always has such bad artifacting? I at first assumed it was because the images are constantly circulated and re-downloaded and re-screencapped, but even people's """original""" content still looks crispy and horrible. Are iPhones just terrible at compressing photos?

I mean pictures in general that are plain text over some random picture. The text is almost always fuzzy in them and it's not done intentionally, since I doubt any form of image editing people use for them even has options for compression levels.

Idols. A system of worship in which the worst scum in the universe latch on to others to escape reality because they're incapable of actualizing anything themselves. Of course, those chosen by God don't need idols. I myself am the person I strive to be, the very ideal that deserves to be worshipped. In other words, I am my own idol.
 
I had a pretty edgy thought myself just now.

A lot of these people who end up commiting violent crimes: rape, murder, assault etc. come from a troubled background. There's past trauma, possible substance abuse etc.
Given the host of issues that drives a man to become a rapist or a serial killer it's likely they have at one point in their lives, at least statistically, dialed a suicide prevention hotline. Or dealt with social services and/or medical personnel regarding the matter, possibly after being arrested or hospitalized. At least at a higher rate than the average person.

Now I don't know how often these suicide prevention measures actually work, but they gotta do sometimes, right? So how many innocent victims of rape, murder, abductions etc. could have been saved and all the suffering prevented if we did not have this cultural notion that all life is worth cherising and suicidal people should be stopped?

The correct answer is that normies and children don't know how to right-click save images (or it's not available through the APPS they use to browse memes) so they save and circulate them via their phones' screenshot function.
