Cultural elements and indispensable sacreds of countries, simple mathematics and simple knowledge of life;
Even enough and more for the pre-university period. I have studied in a public school, the information given about history
or any class i attend was nothing but local propaganda.

There should be no tolerance for bullying, sadly I had to witness some disgusting bullying towards some boy one time when I was younger.

Went to a private school, got a really good education from there. There were some obvious issues though, being overly strict with primary school aged students was one of them. Students should know how to act, but if you punish one with taking off their recess for talking once, that is way too far. Used to dislike wearing uniforms and a tie so I felt a bit jealous of the public schools in that regard. It also left me pretty sheltered and naive once I graduated from it. Corporal punishment was threatened occasionally, but I believe it was rarely used. They used to be more harsh with corporal punishment, like doing it more often back in the day pre-90s, or outright beatings much longer ago.

There was some pretty horrific bullying at the private school I went to that got covered up really quickly. Lots of old money types, older than my family, attended and some of those kids who came from those families got let off really fast. There are a few incidents I remember that felt more than typical bullying, and it was always the same few kids who got singled out. I recall a few of those students who got singled out left, and I don't blame them.

Anyone who complains that school is too rigid and is just forcing you to be a cog in the wheel...MAN... doesn't realize that they are very much cog-worthy and should probably just let go and become part of the machine. (Insert Pink Floyd music here.)
People who need a different model of education can get it. There are so many options, some are even free! Such as not going to school at all! I know truancy officers are a thing but there are lots of ways of avoiding a traditional education if you are an exceptional person. But most people are retarded and probably need to just do their homework and get the basics so that they can be ready for the workforce.

Damn. It took 4 fucking months for this thread to gain any activity :story: Sucks to suck, @hothead.
