EFF launching campaign against content policing by ISPs

The discussion on hacker news about this latest article is reasonably encouraging. Most seem supportive of the principle, and the EFFs stance, even if there‘re still people reciting the same tired bullshit about kill counters and harassment.

I wish the EFF hadn’t spent so many words talking about how bad and evil the farms are but we have the recognize they’re treading a bit of a tightrope when they talk about issues like this. Last time they wrote about this they got significant backlash so I think it’s most likely that it’s just lip service to all the people who will criticize them for defending the farms. Regardless of the amount of misinformation surrounding the farms it’s one of the most vilified sites on the internet, especially relative to the size of the userbase. So at least by including the lip service it gets in front of the usual criticism so readers/commenters can focus on the core issue. I respect them for having more of a spine than any other organization and for sticking to their principles.

Check out the posts by chonkerz. They're refreshing the page constantly and commenting as fast as they can, almost a post every three minutes.

Or, better yet, never subject yourself to anything on hackernews unless you enjoy reading comments on yet another far-left internet echo chamber.

Currently still the top story and Blockhead's even gotten a few special mentions. Ever heard of the Streisand Effect, Elliot?

Apparently Incognet isn't hosting this site anymore. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=37319305

Except, we don't host them? Didn't you hear, Hurricane Electric didn't allow us to host Kiwifarms.

I haven't followed up with our customer to see who their new hosting provider is.

I thought that incognet were just blocked by Hurricane electric? So, whose the host now?
