I've always found this so bizarre, the need to tag content with all this shit. Can someone point out the transphobia and misgendering here?

These people treat any acquaintance they meet as if a light breeze of wind could shred through them. I am certain it does more harm than good because it just enforces these supposed phobias so they can avoid them entirely.

:powerlevel: I used to know more people who were like this until I went on a tie-cutting streak. I think a lot of them project how their ~cishet~ parents made fun of their headassery onto everyone else that doesn't immediately identify as trans*.

Yep, and it's made worse by the fact that the "inherently bad" group in this case is 99.9% of the population of the world, and the fact that the tiny proportion of troons are emotionally unstable. They're unnecessarily placing themselves in a position where they can never feel secure. No wonder they're all so fucking miserable.

I'm going to say about none. I'm also going to say that I don't actually believe they're half as afraid as they claim to be. They have this culture of "you cannot tell someone their feelings are invalid." So it doesn't matter what scared you, the important thing is that you are scared - anyone that calls you oversensitive or, goddess forbid, a total wuss is gaslighting you or some shit like that. Oppression is not what a person does, but how you feel about it.

So what you wind up with is a group of blubbering dysfunctionals who pretend they can't walk along the street without attempting suicide, because the more frightened you are, the more valid your claims of oppression are.

What's amazing about this one is that she seems to be triggered by the fact that they've learned how to actually accept themselves by learning how to take a joke, and continuing on with their lives despite opposition from loved ones.
The Cisphobia Squad is clearly not a group for support, it's for people who want to wallow in their own self-created misery.

This group exists as a kind of self-validating circlejerk. The members hate their lives, but convince themselves that it's not their fault and things could never be any other way because transphobia. In this group, they're surrounded by people who have the same problem, so they can convince themselves that they're right.

When you get transpeople who don't fit that mould, it gives them prickly-wicklies because it proves that actually, it is perfectly possible to get on in the world while trans. Do they congratulate their fellow transfolk on making something of their lives in the face of adversity? Of course not. Paint them as traitors. They should give it all up and start whining in solidarity.
