Magic builds can basically annihilate Elden Ring, the first spells you'll want to get your hands on are probably glintblade, which I think the prisoner starts with, and rocksling, which can be acquired fairly early. Those were my workhorse spells for killing shit.

Craftable status arrows with shortbows because you can do rolling attacks with them and barrage. Don't upgrade early shortbows too much because the best dps bow for that is the Black Bow, a longbow with a moveset like a shortbow found in the royal capital. Also status arrows do scale with arcane if you use Serpent Bow, but that's a longbow so it won't have the good moveset. The ash of war also increases status build but I don't remember if it's efficient. Radahn's Rain can be useful if you wanna go greatbow or wanna keep grinding for arrow resources to a minimum (which you should it takes forever). Pully bow has the fastest normal draw of all bows but once again longbow moveset makes it better for dps rather than survival. Sky Shot is legitimately useless and I never liked using it. Headshots are obviously best so be ready to be aiming most fights, and remember you can dodge and jump while aiming, that's a thing people use in do in pvp. Also if you go dwelling bow you can just use magic bone arrows for mostly the same effect, and Lenne's Rise lets you grind lots of them with minimal effort, it's not amazing damage but it is an option if you do int/dex for a bow build for some reason.

The Black Bow you get in Leyndell is kinda viable through endgame because of the quickfiring, everything else (other than the awesome bow you show here) is ass

Only reason I'm not really keen on Black Bow is due to being stuck with Barrage on it. Rain of Arrows seems to proc statuses more often with less arrow use.
