Elden Ring

In what way is that even possibly your takeaway from what I said? If you’re a man then you should play as a man, not play pretend that you’re a woman.
You seem a little old not to understand the difference between fiction and reality. Calm down, troons are for laughing at not getting angry over.

Is this bait? I can't tell anymore, somebody help me out here. You can pretend you've found my summon sign right before a particularly autistic enemy, just make sure your character is a dude if you're a dude IRL.

I do get a sudden, autistically unexplainable spike of frustration when I see the majority of streamers select a female character. Just because I know these people aren't creative or committed enough to roleplay. I just don't see the appeal otherwise, especially in a From game where the men and women are almost indistinguishable.

Even if you ARE roleplaying, there's a very small handful of archetypes which would even fit a woman. Beyond that, you're essentially playing a male character anyway, with female grunts and a slightly different posture. I don't think it has anything to do with trooning though. If you do, that probably says more about you than them.

Could be picking the female option because a female character will look good in both heavy armor and a dress depending upon what the situation requires.

I played all 5 sessions of the CNT and the game seems great, especially if you primarily play for the pve and world exploration.
However I dont think it could totally replace DS3 for pvp for a few reasons:

- backstabs suck, feels like they have a super late grab, you can't even backstab punish parry spam anymore let alone fancy backstabs like raviolis (stole this clip from /vg/, it's always like exactly this)

- the player limit has been lowered from 6 to 4, meaning no more huge chaotic team fights
- seems there's a lot of stuff that is gonna be pretty cancerous in pvp such as huge aoe spells and weapon arts
- no combos

Don't get me wrong I will still play this game on release and enjoy the pvp, but DS3 will always be the best imo.

I don't roleplay, I just play as bottom heavy female characters in Souls games because I like big female asses.

Unironically excited for this. Still gonna wait until release until I buy it though.

How many former Skyrim players are going to play Elden Ring? I would, but I remember that I don’t have a PS5

That's why I dont play non-humans, dont use magic, or any extremely strong or athletic character beyond my IRL capability, and dont even play a game like Metroid without options to be exactly as I am IRL. Or else I'm a troon.

Elden Ring isn't a PS5 exclusive, numbnuts.
Xbox's multiplayer community for Souls game and similar is non existent.

I had a hell of a time trying to get people for finishing the achievements for MHW. Getting 50 guild cards was even an ordeal, forget about finding enough people for optional fights like the twin Rajangs for the body builder cosmetic armor.

There have been rumours and wild speculation about Elden Ring setting.

Basically people are speculating that the game setting isn't really a dark fantasy one but a mech sci-fi one on a disc world. There is an alleged mid game twist similar to Bloodborne or Dark Souls where the player finds this out.

Miyazaki has also stated in a interview with vice where he says that he would like to make a game inspired by the anime Aura Battler Dunbine and Escaflowne both of which are mech fantasy shows. He has also talked about an old FromSoftware Dreamcast game called Frame Gride which is again in the mech fantasy genre.

People have also found a Elden Ring symbol on the in game moon and some of the item descriptions are very Bloodborne like.

Bleeeeh... sometimes a fantasy setting should just be a fantasy setting.

OHHHHHH ELDEN RING

My lack of I.Q. showed in that post, I’m not going to lie. I confused this release with Demon’s Souls.

Anyway, some people have already started playing Elden Ring. I even have some reviews here:

Also, I came to find out that even a VTuber is enjoying it as well:

It’ll be interesting if they can spawn sequels out of this if the Japanese can make this game popular come 2022. I want it to compete with the FF remaster that was popular for the last half of this year.
