Bloody slash and mimic tear got heavily nerfed by the sound of it and I'm a dex bleed build. Gee thanks From.

I kinda hate this balancing shit for single player games. After grinding for 60+ hours don't I deserve to feel strong? If you always feel weak then what's the point of leveling up or rpg elements at all?
They fixed arcane scaling if you still wanted bleed.

Really glad I used Mimic Tear against Maliketh before the nerfs...

I'm just not installing any patches. I can revert the game back to it's original state in the future any time through the powers of physical media.

Respeced back to strength faith to try the magma wyrm greatsword. It’s great and they definately just didn’t put a good weapon with st/fa early enough. How do you deal with Gurranq when he loses his shit?

Finished the game, really enjoyed it, is there much point to doing a new game plus run other than respeccing a bunch and changing around your build?

Just die and he goes back to normal.

Haven't tried hoarfrost but the bloody slash nerf is fucking bad. It got probably an 80% damage nerf and takes more health to use.

Plus as a dexfag my weapon can't naturally stagger most enemies so I relied on that for stagger potential. Anyone have an alternate ash suggestion?

He absolutely does not. I warped to his bonfire to give him some deathroot and he was still raging after me dying several times.
What helped for me was to fight with him and after bringing down his health to around 80-85% he calmed down (then you can talk to him, he apologises and after a bonfire sessions all was good again).

Any tips? The beast claw that was pantsshittingly overpowered in the network test is one-shotting me.

Also, the stone shotgun incantation is actually really good now that I’ve got the beast talisman leveled up.

I was trying to use the door to cheese him a bit, but that didn‘t work to good, then I tried it by using the structures in his room, which helped better, but he still kicked my ass, however I was able to get that much damage in that it was enough (and following the comment of @caonima it seems like that maybe the amount of damage you need to deal is somewhat RNG-based, because I definitely didn‘t damage him to half health).

When I think about it more: If you just want to get him back to normal, then you may can cheese him with the door and arrows. Pretty sure that any bow and the simple blood arrows will be decent enough.
Good luck!

You get to start with all your flask upgrades, spirit summons, cookbooks, and weapons.
The enemies are somewhat buffed but it's generally easier, I did NG+ so I could get all the achievements.

Magicfags just can't stop winning, huh? Feels good to be high INT, guess you dexbabies should have played the way Miyazaki wanted you to play.

Just kidding. I'm closing in on the end of the game and I think I can safely say that I still really love it, but like Dark Souls 1 it really starts to fall off in the latter half. The game starts to become more annoying than fun, with duo bosses that weren't designed around fighting more than one cropping up in every dungeon and the asset reuse getting pretty bad. The bosses feel exceedingly bullshit and I think this is the first game ever where I'm going to just straight up say 'fuck it' and not bother fighting a few because I know it's just going to be tedious garbage, especially with the OP win buttons like Mimic Tear nerfed into the dirt. I'd say this is still From's best game in terms of mob enemy fights, I actually really enjoy slugging it out with basic enemies and exploring this massive world, but I feel nothing but impending dread when I come up to a boss door and know there's nothing but frustration or cheese ahead. Which is strange, because it was almost the complete opposite in other From games. A lot of the time I was excited to confront the boss and felt like the minion enemies were the filler I worked through to get there.

I had an easier time with the bosses when I stopped playing like it was Dark Souls 3 and started actively being more aggressive, blocking, jumping, using running attacks, etc; which I think is the Sekiro influence bleeding into the game a lot. But the bosses chunk through my health in like 1 or 2 hits even with 40 vig and it's just not fun figuring out what actually works when I know I'm going to get buttfucked for one minor mistake.

I really wanted to go through the game again a couple days ago once I beat it, but now I think I'll need a break once the credits roll. I wanted to play through it as a STR/FAI character next, but with magic getting all the good shit anyway I feel like there's no real incentive to do so, and the game is hard enough already with me playing with easy mode Azure Comet.

Doesn't surprise me From Software would nerf stuff given that the soulsborne community is probably one of the most annoying gaming communities on the planet. It baffles me people in that community would unironically bitch and whine people are beating bosses in a way that's considered "cheap" or people going "bawwww moonveil katana is overpowered, it's not fair it's faster than my uber hardcore gamer mode build with two greatswords!" "I'm bored! This game is too easy with my cheesy magic build. From give me a fucking challenge!" And don't even get me started on the pvp community.

If anything they need to nerf certain bosses.

They really really really don't want you to play a melee build do they? Barricade shield, Hoarfrost, bloody stomp. Anything that heavily benefited melee got nerfed into the ground.
Nah Hoarfrost was ridiculously broken to the point of making any other offensive art pointless so I get that. Barricade nerf seems both unnecessary in that it wasn't OP (just inexpensive) and pointless in that it'd still be great even if they went further and made it just an L2 that doesn't enchant the shield itself.
But I'm sorry about your blood slash bro

I checked reddit this morning and it's full of cocksuckers praising the nerfs and making lists of things to nerf next. It's actually kind of remarkable. Even the ones that aren't obsessed with shoving niggers and troons in everything have this instinctual need to try and ruin everything.

Reddit and its users suck. Die reddit. Fuck Twitter too.

>ugh those shitting shitters finally can't cheese the game to beat it. The Patch has saved us all, based FROM putting it to those shitters who can't get achivements anymore from now on R COMMUNITY IS SAVED. THERE ARE NO MEANS for people have a means of restoring an earlier version of the game!

I know the dragon head glitch by heart and I make sure to do it after I can teleport to bonfires.
