The Woodfolk are legitimately making me uncomfortable. They're not scary, but hearing them mutter to each other in the mist and beyond the trees is keeping me on edge something fierce.

To the people butthurt over Hoarfrost Stomp and Sword of Night and Flame nerfs the new broken item is Rivers of Blood.
Makes sense. Bleed shit was already very strong, the patch made arcane scaling work as intended, and most of the bleed weapons barring scythes and about half the katanas had it.

bad game gets made worse, thank you nip retards. they couldn't suck the cock of sorcery hard enough could they.

and careful with all that dick-sucking ya doing, don't wanna suck the skin right off do we?

Thank god I still playing my pirated copy
Should I respec my 24 Faith to Arcane?
Been spamming Sword of Night and Flame

bro if the boss takes more than five seconds and two attacks how am i gonna tell my friends how skilled i am and how easy elden ring is? they'll see i don't have plat and i will literally die

just get a poison/rot weapon, get them to proc on a boss, and run to the edge of the arena if you want more cheese, the game can still be broken open and made a cakewalk if you really want it to. Mimic solo'd most bosses in the game if your build was decent at +10, but any summon in general pulls so much attention off of you that the boss essentially has to have a one-shot attack to still risk dropping you

I didn't even know mimic was good until the last few hours of the game. I used Hoarfrost for all of five minutes before deciding it was too cheap, and they didn't touch the stagger which I thought was its main problem. Fixing NPC quests and an entire class of weapons is worth any amount of online hyperventilating

I beat the rot lady! Took me a few times but I figured I could do it because I was consistently getting her to low health on second form.
Had my mimic spamming ice lightning and me spamming the Blasphemous Blade skill. At one point, my mimic healed us both with lords heal and at another point my mimic staggered her when she was about to unleash a combo. Mimic coming in as mvp despite the nerf. I can 1000000% see why melee builds would have a terrible time with that woman.

I beat Hoarah. Not a terrible fight once you figure out the pattern but another boss that just keeps attacking. Took me about 10-20 attempts. The pattern is a little bit easier to figure out with less instant kill BS like Maliketh so I guess it's acceptable, maybe?

My hypothesis is that FROM painted themselves in a corner by adding the spirit ashes and that's why there's so many AOE attacks from bosses just to kill off the NPC's. Of course they could have tweaked the spirit ashes by reducing the health or damage they do instead of overtuning the bosses but whatever.

On that note, I couldn't figure out how to successfully dodge the AOE of Hoarah when he does the ground pound. The first punch is fine, but the second punch is (1) hard to predict and (2) if you are within this little circle around him you STILL get hit even when you roll and BTW if you have a greatshield and block you STILL take damage if you fully block the attack when within that inner circle. Instead, you have to back away, get away from the circle, and then you can safely block but you might lose all stamina.

So did they actually add onto the quests or was there some sort of bug that was preventing the npcs from having more than one or two stages and they fixed the bugs?

They're probably based on written real life encounters with strange people in the woods for that extra layer of authenticity.

The murmuring and muffled sounds are then heard by people lost in the woods, who in response move towards them and see a strange group of people, who then upon seeing the lost individual usually become dead silent and scurry away and try to hide behind trees and act very apprehensive. All the while the person who is asking or screaming for help doesn't get responded to and all the lost person hears are these people making chattering or shreiking sounds as they still stumble about lost in the forest.

I'm not saying that GRRM ripped off Missing 411, but this is the same man who gave us House Spiderman.

Looks like some quests had genuine bugs and now all the NPCS are clearly marked on the map

Made a consumable only character, and I'm having a hard time with Rennala.
It's actually crazy how good consumables + spirit ashes are in combination with eachother, because I first tried Margit at 23, Godrick at 25, and the red wolf of radagon.
I died like 2 times to Leonine Misbegotten.
She's resistant to magic damage, so the amazing (and easy to get) crystal throwing knives are weak against her (but stronger than the normal ones)
Firebombs were amazing against margit but are abysmal against Rennala.

I think you just jump over it. I have a habit of rolling too much and jumping too little. They want you to use both, but it is not obvious which you are meant to use.

Yeah, he's pretty bad. But, I think that you can dodge his ground attacks by jumping. So, hit him once then jump away. If he teleports, dodge and then jump. Same thing if he suddenly starts moving really fast. That's a very boring way of defeating him, but it should probably work.
The Royal Revenant boss (same enemy) at Kingsward Ruins near Caria Manor is some horse shit. Imagine that enemy but in a tiny ruins boss room, no horses allowed.

My strat was baiting the spazz combo, running into do some cheeky hits building up frostbite and pulling back to let jellyfish tank some aggro (Spellblade setup).
I have no issues with using an aggro sponge spirit because these fights are not easy with no shields and old man reflexes. Crystal darts saved my shit in that fight.

Reddit and its users suck. Die reddit. Fuck Twitter too
I noticed that it's especially bad this time around. People fucking getting so bent out of shape about people summoning, using magic, using bleed, stomp, strength, anything that isn't a straight strength build where you never summon or buff yourself or use any bonuses at all is triggering these faggots.

So the only thing that seems really like cut content is the age of absolute ending. People were thinking it was tied to Nepheli but I haven't seen any footage of a new ending yet.
