Who's Sir Gideon the All Knowing?
Thought about it but can't decide. Originally I thought to go with Sargon as he is the poster child of the "Intellectual" youtubers, but he fell to the gold mask to neatly to ignore. Need to be a lolcow who's shtick is to claim how knowledgeable he is. Maybe Terry A. Davis who was legit smart (though it makes the joke end on a sad note).

You need someone ruthless and manipulative for Gideon.

I was thinking someone supremely overconfident in their intelligence/abilities whose arrogance later leads to their downfall.

Ralph as peepeepoopoo man is spot on though.

I've been playing around with the Maiden renowned ashes for the last few days.
Doing a level 50 +8 vagabond playthrough to create a save for invading purposes.
Shes currently just sitting at +4 and managed to survive completely through the fight with the Twin Gargoyles.
Was a real Pita that took several attempts just due to lowish damage plus they're both HP sponges.
Anyways she doesn't draw much agro due to only chucking pots intermittently.
The upside is that she spams heals constantly.
Gets hit.
Casts AOE heal.
I haven't bothered looking at the numbers but it was healing me for around 15% -20% of my health pool at 1650 life.
Worked extremely well for that prolonged fight.
Free heals are free heals.
No stopping to chug.
I'm planning on taking her to max to see how she performs.

And to the noobs out there.
Please spend your first 30-40 levels in vigor.......please.

Spent about an hour grinding to get my strength up enough for the Greatsword only to discover that it's absolutely fucking awful. Not enjoying navigating Stormveil castle either.

Honestly I'm starting to think I'm reaching my peak with the game, but I thought that with Margit before finally slaughtering the cunt. Might see if I've missed any dungeon bosses to tick off before giving Stormveil castle another try.
crouch r1 + stop leveling stats that arent vigor + maybe upgrade it? the big dark red dots on the map are caves with smithing stones

No, don't listen to this man. Keep your vigor low, I promise it makes invading you so much funner.
Yeah but then you get those really funny parries when you party the host.
Phantoms relentlessly mashing R1 into your I-frames.
Parry phantom strait out of recovery.
Rinse and repeat.
That one never gets old.

Finally sinking my teeth in. I'd put maybe 10 hours over the last couple weeks playing blind and I finally had to admit I was outmatched by this game. I hate having to do this in games, but I hung my hat and started looking up some walkthroughs. I still don't feel ready to take on stormveil castle, but I've unlocked other parts of the map and obtained some really cool shit and made my way to a few good rune farming spots.

I liked this game and the atmosphere from the start, but now I'm finally starting to get the hang of things and I'm loving this game now.

This works by either infusing the weapon with bleed/poison to give it both a status and arcane scaling or infusing a status weapon with bleed/poison/occult to get the attribute to scale the initial status and also give either a new status, increasing the innate status, or giving arcane scaling to the status while gaining physical scaling.
How do you infuse weapons, I think this is the first I've heard of it. Is it an ash of war? If so, does it remove the ability of the weapon(I fucking need quickstep)?

I was also a dumbass that almost exclusively leveled dex and FP a whole lot for 75% of my current levels, because bandit, despite never upgrading weapons. I beat Margit with 550 hp at level 25[???] and weapons at +0. Now I'm going HP only and it REALLY makes a difference.

Remember that you can tap the button towards the end of the animation when chugging the Not-Estus flask and take another swill to save time healing up.

Some ashes of war let you change what stat a weapon scales with or adds an element to your weapon. Throughout the game, you'll find whetstone blades that let you use infusions that an ash of war doesn't have natively.

If you're big on a specific skill, but can't get it to an infusion you want, you will be able to later on. Don't worry.
