if it's gonna be a Miquella DLC maybe with Mohg dead someone else kidnaps him and takes him to far off country and as Elden Lord we must pursue because reasons
Most of miquella's cut content heavily implies its dream related, so any DLC will be probably set in miquella's dreamworld
The formless mother will be the final boss of the DLC

Some of the final bosses (Maliketh, Hoarah Loux, Radagon) may pose a more significant threat because they tend to not leave as many openings for spell casters. But considering you've got enough vigor to handle all of the vigor checks, you should be good unless you go full DSP
Besides the first, I found all of them to be pretty easy with strength+mimic. I think it's more due to them being more traditional souls bosses rather than the Bloodborne bullshit that was most of the game

I heard bamco got hacked, and I keep seeing this image floating about, ngl it looks fake but 2023 seems likely for any ER DLC

Barbarians of the Badlands? Makes sense as a DLC.

Hoarah Loux was a chieftain of the Badlands, though I don’t know if that is before he became Godfrey or after he and his Tarnished were exiled.

I have two ideas for the DLC:

The first is that we follow in the wake of Hoarah Loux’s rise to being Godfrey, revealing the origins of the Golden Order and fight the remnants of the giants, godskins, and other dangerous threats.

My second guess is that we explore the fate of the Tarnished. Remember that all of the Tarnished were dead before the game began. Hoarah Loux is seen crucified in the introduction, which means something other than an endgame Tarnished was able to beat him. We are fighting that opponent for sure. Lore-wise we will learn why the Tarnished were exiled and how they went from Hoarah Loux’s company of champions to corpse fuckers, shit eaters, and all manner of servants to eldtrich beings.

I have successfully managed to defeat what I can only imagine are the three weakest optional bosses in the game, only one (technically two, since it was the dual-boss from Boc's quest) of which I did with the assistance of summoned aid. Rolling towards the boss instead of away from them was very helpful advice. I still got absolutely crushed by Margit, even with summoned aid, but I'm getting there.

Eh, The Badlands could make sense and finally capitalize on From's original plan for Dark Souls 3 to have a sand-coated Anor Londo, but I doubt it. A desert is about the only biome missing but I find it hard to believe there'd be a good reason to send The Tarnished there. My money's still on Miquella's Dream DLC but who knows?

Which ones have you beaten so far? I looked up Boc's quest and that's the demi human chiefs(had to look it up), but you've been down a catacomb or fought a pumpkinhead, right?

Oh, God, I can barely even remember them. I've just been wandering all over the map, going into whatever caves, or castles, or whatever else I find. Sometimes I make it to the fog door, sometimes I get bored of dying over and over trying and go somewhere else, and very rarely I manage to beat the boss.

Looking at this list of bosses, it looks like one of them was the Scaly Misbegotten, because I remember fighting it on a pile of gold after going through the mine. It helps that this was also the second boss I killed, and the first one I managed to defeat on my own. The third boss was one of the Beastmen of Farum Azula, because when I was checking the page for Groveside Cave, it said that you get the Flamedrake Talisman for killing the boss.

No Pumpkinheads yet. I had planned on it, since I heard they were some of the easier bosses, but instead I spent six hours exploring. Managed to get 3-4 Graces deep into Raya Lucaria before I had to give up (no ranged ammo).

Speaking of which, I'm pleasantly surprised that generic mobs don't get incredibly powerful as you get further away from where you start. Makes the game feel a lot more genuinely open-world, since you can kill the mobs on the other side of the map just as easily as the ones outside the starting area.

Xenoverse 3!?!? But there's still DLC left for Xenoverse 2! And frankly I'm pretty happy with X2 I don't think I'll be buying another Xenoverse game. It literally has X1 patched into it.

Anyway I am finally able to get past the barrier that leads to the main city place. Can't wait to die where the fancy people live!

Fuck yeah, beat that faggot Margit. All I needed to do was get to level 32, summon Sorcerer Rogier, and use the Marionette Soldier Ashes.

...Still got a way to go before I "git gud."

Edit: I honestly don't get why people bitch and moan about needing an "easy mode." What do they think the ashes, summons, and multiplayer are?

Edit 2: Fuck. Accidentally killed Gatekeeper Gostoc. Fucker moved from the entrance to deeper in the castle and I mistook him for an enemy. By the time I realized that I had fucked up, he was already aggroed. This is why you need more than just auto-saves, damn it.
-Edit 2b: Looking at his wiki page, it sounds like he's kind of a cunt, so I'm not THAT upset about it.

Edit 3: These FUCKING knights. The ones with the shields, at least. The halberd knights are still annoying, but the sword and board knights are a pain in the ass.

Edit 4: Managed to get to the grace past the small army and mini-boss (snuck past him). Would have managed it like two hours ago, but I saw the mini-boss and decided to take a different path. Wound up wandering around in circles until I got back to the courtyard for the third or fourth time and noticed the grace in the room behind him.

If you block an attack with a shield(not a parry, just a regular block) and strike immediately afterwards you get a 'counter attack' of sorts. Just be careful, if they're chaining attacks your attack might not hit them before their next attack hits you and knocks you out of the animation. It can be an easy freebie if you know when to do it. With spear/halberd dudes this is obviously trickier because you are farther away from them but I feel like they're easier to backstab than other knights if you manage to roll through their attack.

Don't worry about gostoc, feed his bell bearing to the husk at round table and you can still buy all of his stuff.

What weapons are you using?

Bastard Sword +8 and a brass shield. Got an uchigatana earlier, and I think I'm going to grind smithing stones for it, because I like how much faster it is.

Got past them a while ago, though (unless there's more after where I am). Now I'm trying to figure out how to kill the big... snake/lizard thing in the basement. The one past the giant rat.
Edit: Ulcerated Tree Spirit. Which it turns out that I don't have to kill, because when I decided to explore a bit before trying again, I found the fog door.

+8 at this point!? Jeez, I think my main weapon is +8 or 9 and I'm level 75. (that was mainly because I had a gap in smithing stone levels for reasons unknown)
Ulcerated tree spirits suck but having the hardy jellyfish(or similar summon) be its main punching bag makes them much easier, just smash it in the ass for a while and run away when it starts spazzing out. Firebombs also works.

General question for the thread, is there anything that makes abductor virgins less of a pain in the ass? I can cheese them but it takes a long time and is boring as fuck. Fighting them normally is risky while also taking a long time and is boring as fuck.

I was dicking around in Ranni's tower talking to all the spirit projections or whatever to advance her questline I wasn't even fighting anything, suddenly I get a "Great foe slain" message and 25k runes.

Wtf died and why?

Might be one of the dragons. But I think the one for her quest tends to relocate if you don't kill it the first time.

Yea that was my first thought, that glintstone dragon whatever clipped into the ground and died but that one doesn't typically die there, it relocates to three sisters at critical health.

If no lootbox popped up afterwards the only other thing I can think of that gives 25k souls might be one of the crucible knights.
