So I beat Godfrey and was at the final boss door. I figured it was time to finally get thru Haligtree and pay Malenia a visit. Took a few tries but I finally beat that asshole horse knight, slogged through the rest of the castle and I'm finally at Malenia.

I've only tried 3 times but damn, I see now why everyone hates fighting this bitch. Might need to grind some more levels like it's 2004 runescape.

Two weeks left to beat her and radagon before shadow of the Erdtree releases. I think I can do it. Wish me luck brahs. I'ma kill this ho before 6/21 mark my fuckin words.

Good luck, I ended up cheesing her with mimic tear and rivers of blood. What I do want to try when I face her again is to throw freeze pots at her when she prepares her spaztic slash attack. She she leaps up, if you throw a freeze pot, you will cancel the fucking thing, I would have loved to have known this detail on my first playthrough. Basically, if you don't mind using items, go with that and you can still have a "proper" duel without having to deal with the bullshit that makes her insuferable. Either that or you learn to dodge Waterfoul, but good luck with that. Honestly, slow down waterfoul and make her healing not work on block and she would honestly be trivial, which is why she feels so cheap.

Protip but Malenia's biggest weakness is that she's humanoid.

That means anything that can knock a player or npc invader on their ass will also knock her on her ass.

With the right ash of war you can effectively stunlock her.

Sadly, Lifesteal Fist doesn't work on her.
 
I've seen a bunch of YouTube videos outlining the new weapons but nothing about armor.

Drip is very important to me.

I like Elden Ring better than DS3 but on the feeling progression front the DS games are so much better at it. The thing is, it’s in the design choices rather than “misses”. Every step in DS3 feels earned in skill to me. Whereas in Elden Ring it’s likely level/rune grind unless you literally just try a boss til you win.
 
I had made up my mind to finally buy the ''Shadow of the Erdtree'' DLC from the PSN store, but for some reason that i don't understand, only the Chinese/Korean version is available in my region (I live in Asia, though I am from Europe).

The only other games that have this type of regional language lock on the PSN are the YS/XS series...I would usually just order a physical copy of the game that would have English (that's what i did with Elden ring when i went back to my country for holiday), but since it is a DLC that's not possible.

Also Asia is pretty big: why do they assume every person in Asia speak either Chinese or Korean?
Be careful, if you try to buy the DLC, make sure that it is in the correct language.

I’m expecting a DLC series of endings. Guess I’m gonna go kill the Elden Beast and go into NG++. I have two other save slots, but my first character is the mage and I like having them for nuking anything on first runs.

I remember Fromsoft said that the DLC would not add a new ending(s) to the base game, so it should be alright i think

My guess is they will restore the Miquella ending and possibly expand on what certain endings mean. The peepee doodoo feces ending might not be as bad now that Omens might actually be a natural phenomenon.

What I would like to test is if there will be some change in the Melenia cutscene once you go through the DLC that has a lot to do with her brother Miquella. They haven't done that since Siff and the Artorias DLC though.

Omen's might be a natural phenomenon, but the pain from existing as an omen drives them all to near-mindless violence. It's a shit existence that the Perfumers tried to ease, until Rollo got the right idea.

I only saw one video, but I've seen some cool raven armor. Video with timestamp
Now, I'm just curios if there's a better (looking) hat then Alberich's hat.
And to reiterate the sentiment, stats are gay, fashion is based, and that's why I'll always love games that allow me to customize the ever living shit out of my armor, be it with dyes or transmog or whatever.

I doubt it'd happen, but I wish they'd do something more with Bok's ability to alter your outfits. Just removing a cape on armor seems like a waste of a character.
