Kotaku's Alyssa Mercante reviews the Elden Ring DLC, makes it about herself as the "victim".

I mean she does this with everything so is it really surprising that she did it with something else?
Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if this bitch found some way to make a pleasant breakfast alone at a nice cafe about her drama and insecurities.

I wonder, considering certain weapons like fists have three different move sets in the base game, I wonder if the Hand-to-Hand weapons will be the same, and what other weapons will have different move sets.

Kinda wanna start an NG+ but I'm not sure I can sperg hard enough to get Radahn and Mogh done before I can get back again. Does going to Radahn early break Ranni's questline?

Yesterday, I had a NG+ character that had just got into Stormveil. Blitzed through Stormveil to get Varre to go to Liurnia, then went through the magma wyrm to get to Altus so I could invade Magnus to get down to Mohg. For some reason, the Volcano Manor invasions did not work (I thought they had worked for me in the past, whatever). The servers were offline so I could not invade players.

Do we need Radahn dead to get into the DLC? I thought we just had to be able to access Miquella.

Radhan needs to die too

I think because there's gonna be some bullshit lore reason about him being reincarnated in the shadow realm after he dies. I have no idea why but it just feels like Tumbler fan fick writing and I don't really like it.

I'm kinda just hoping that it's mind control at this point, but my bigger concern is how Rahardn is still alive.
Does being dead really mean anything in ER, though? To my understanding the only Demigod for whom "soul-dead" is a plausible interpretation is Godwyn the Golden, but for everyone else reincarnation, afterlives, and other fantasy back-from-the-dead B.S. seems like fair game, especially for a DLC that takes place in an alternate (dream?) world.

acktually Mohg and Miquella had a consenting relationship, so it isn't gay pedophilia
Fucked up thing is this might actually be true. Seems to me that Miquella used Mohg's obsession as a way to get into The Land of Shadow.

Death is absent from the land between and that's why everything is fucked up. None of the demigods we kill are actually dead dead until we unshackle Destined Death and burn the erdtree. When we killed Radahn we divested his soul from his flesh and I assume Miquella snapped it up and took it to The Lands Between somehow.

sure but if this is the case then why doesn't anyone else come back after we kill them?

if killing yourself is a way to instantly respawn with your entire body/armour resorted then why didn't he just off himself when he got scarlet rot?

Bigger souls take longer to download into a baby.
I think maybe a plausible excuse would be that he can't abandon his great rune/let the stars fall to achieve his goals.
But I cant think of other excuses for other bosses.

It takes time for them to get spit back out by the Erdtree, and the process is fucked up.

That's not how it works I think. You get regurgitated by the Erdtree. Maybe before the ring got broken and the tree started to fall apart and (maybe?) die you could pop back out in all your former glory but a big reason everything you see is a weird zombie or gross amalgamation of shit is because the crucible is not working right.

There's a nerd you can invade at Writheblood Ruins on Atlus Plateau that counts for Varre's quest.
