Does anyone know where the sign for Igon is for the Bayle fight? I got his finger, but I don't see any sign at all in the cluttered mess of rocks. Btw, I like that arc. Specially while I was killing the second dragon and he was shouting in the corner like Ahab. But it's a bit silly that the name for that one NPC is DRAGON MAN.
It's right inside the arena, forward and to the left slightly. I dunno if it shows up the first time you enter.

Feel like I'm playing a different game than everyone else. Most bosses on one try, two max.

All the people sperging about Dancing Divine Beast taking 20 attempts have me a bit confused.
The bosses really aren’t any harder than the base game. Rellana for example just came down to figuring out the timing on dodging the moons. The fact that I’ve spent maybe an hour max (probably less) on the bosses I’ve fought is telling. Radagon is from the base game of Elden ring and that’s one boss I can definitely bitch about.

This update is definitely rough on some builds. Stuffing Bloodhound step onto my long katana turned out to be the correct choice.

And yeah...there's alot of stuff being recycled. Considering the Bloodborne stuff added into the game as well as from older Souls game.

Still fun and granted, won't have a problem with them if they made a weird Stalker Souls game. They're very good at portraying a ruined world.

Having an absolute blast with this expansion so far (annoying bosses aside, I mean). There's just one little problem, and it involves pic related. There's literally a light greatsword (great moveset, btw) named "Milady" but there's no fedora? What the fuck Fromsoft? FIX THIS BULLSHIT IMMEDDIATELY!

As I said I refunded it, but I beat the Sunflower and the rest of the optional super bosses and I just didn’t care for it.

The DLC bosses just seem lazy.

Also, you can kill a tranny who wants a womb so he can abort his children.

"HOLY FUCK I WENT DOWN A NARROW STAIRCASE AND A GUY TRIED TO PUSH ME OFF FROM AROUND A CORNER WOAH PEAK DESIGN" just stop doing this shit, I always see it coming and it happens all the time in the gaol dungeons.
This was very apparent in the Fog Rift Catacombs. I kept seeing messages of "wary of right", peep my head around a corner, and lo and behold another cunt camping the corner. There must have been like 7+ of those in that one place.

What blessing level were you at? Most of the people I've seen complain were super low blessing level, so they ended up doing jackshit damage to the bosses and would get 2-shot.

Yeah I don't get it either. I beat him on my fourth attempt. Maybe I just got exceptionally lucky. Again I'm convinced people complaining are restricting themselves from the best items and strats then getting mad as fuck when the game pushes their shit in.

He was really cool though. Those transitions were based as hell.
but some people expect respect for using restrictive builds while failing to beat game.
Yeah, respect but then they also demand that the game be changed or is flawed in some way when their basic great sword isn't enough to give them the edge on a boss that is farting lightning fire out of its ass.
The games kinda lost the dungeon crawling aspect in favor of the larger boss rush style
I feel like Elden Ring has more dungeon crawling than most games of its type.

Played against the final boss about two hours without avail even with a lot of upgrades, fuck it. Maybe come back in the future after it gets patched to be less janky but it's just fucking bad. The main issue is that it has aggro in an unbelievable insane way. The delay between attacks can range between 5 seconds to 1 second, while at least some attacks are being easy to bait to do some damage, you are entirely dependent on it not spamming the annoying attacks you have no time to put a hit in. This is discounting the issue of shitty hitboxes and grab attacks (for example second phase AOE either damages me once for a small damageor pinballs me into multiple beams for an instant kill). And it has the worse kind of phase 2 where you have ridiculous new mechanics that you can't train on them properly because most of them will hit you far too hard, like that Cyberpunk slow mo shit.

I even switched to dual katanas, which left a bad taste in my mouth and, while they are superior to swords in every way to an insane degree (how is a 2 meter sword faster than a longsword? Fucking Japanese weaboos) I should have gone pure bleed build because the amount of HP that guy has is ridiculous. I checked if there's at least some reward for all this suffering and it's a 5 second cutscene of Miquolla telling you to fuck his bussy, fuck this fucking shit.

This DLC is awful, and it really feels like FromSoft is becoming another Bethesda with janky ass engine they try way too hard to put new shit on rather than scrap it and make a new one. The whole progression through collectibles is retarded and depends on you exploring properly before each new boss and not missing anything when a lot of places can only be reached in one way. I explore a huge place only to find I didn't get anything interesting from it. Why not give me progression built on bosses killed at least so I'd have a reason to explore more areas? In general almost all the new bosses are a repeat of the worst trend of Elden Ring. Be it being overly aggressive, having combos that are just a pain to dodge 10 times in a row or just fucking around to the other side of the field so you need to chase them.

I can't understand how reviewers are giving it a 10/10 besides just having FromSoft turn into another Nintendo esque sacred cow.

Apparently that retard Asmongold ragequit the game and came back, and I've been told he is coping very much.
No streamer child, it is the game that is badly designed, enjoy clickbait youtube videos.
Is there any being in modern society more pathetic than a streamer? Oh, hard games are just too stressful and bring out the worst in me! Woe is me! This game is so hard it makes me literally sick!

Nigger you get paid MILLIONS to sit at a computer and play videogames. You have any idea how many times I'd be willing to bang my head against a boss if I was getting PAID to?

Cry me a fucking river dude.

I've hated that shit throughout elden ring and it's at its worst here

I only watch one streamer, and he doesn't get paid millions.

This is what really ruined things for me. I decided my blessing level was too low so I just explored to get it up higher. After exploring all sorts of areas and killing a bunch of bosses for a couple hours, I ended up with zero fragments. I looked up the map placement online and turns out there was fucking 3 of them next to each other right after Castle Ensis. This leveling system is a literal collect-a-thon with schizophrenic distribution.

I don't understand the point of the blessing system. Is it supposed to be like for new characters that don't have NG stats or something?Like in Monster Hunter World if you picked the game back up for iceborne you could buy these Defender weapons that were overpowered as fuck and could basically blitz most hunts, just so you could speed to the new stuff.

Or is it literally supposed to be that using the blessings cripples all the bosses?

I assumed it was supposed to serve as a bandaid for the half-baked enemy scaling system. So if you come into the DLC at level 175 you'll be able to power up and close the gap much better.
Hopefully the scaling stops when you begin the DLC, otherwise that's complete bullshit. Levelling up to suck less against difficult bosses is part of the gameplay loop.

The stated reason was this: they (rightfully) assumed that players will show up to the dlc with fully kitted builds and would steamroll the content, regardless of NG cycle. The goal wasn't to combat that but rather to provide players with the same sense of acquiring power that the base game provides. This isn't me guntguarding, it's just what they said.

When this was revealed, there was some confusion on how it would play out and the eventual assumption was that it'd probably be like Sekiro's attack power. While Sekiro doesn't have any numbers to look at, I think it ended up being similar enough, albeit way less smooth.

The problem with how it works here is that you're still rolling up with a fully kitted build that just feels scaled down. All your shit works properly, it's just not as effective. I personally think that locking the dlc behind Mogh would have been sufficient as they could have just tuned the bosses to the endgame and beyond, unlike the rest of From's dlc which typically can be accessed midgame, with the first or first few bosses being effectively midgame bosses.
