I've been following the /g/ threads about AI voice stuff and it seems like some progress is being made on making Tortoise run better and sound better, the free HuggingFace Space is ok but sounds very garbled and robotic at times. I am hoping we have something comparable to Elevenlabs within the month but that is likely very optimistic.

As much as this will add another layer of distrust on the internet, I can not wait till all the voice acting "content creators" die in like a fiery pit of pigs.
At least soon my recommended feed won't be lumped up on Vanegood and super hero voice over pictures. Good riddance.
