  1. Cut your clips into ~10 second segments. You want at least 3 clips. More is better, but I only experimented with up to 5 in my testing.
  2. Save the clips as a WAV file with floating point format and a 22,050 sample rate.
I’m not a coder but surely it’s easier to write for general file formats instead of these really nit-picky specific fuck off formats? And making me cut up the audio files instead of you? Yeah fuck off mate.

Theat's why the current best characters are the ones that don't emote much. JC Denton is fantastic for this.

Cutting up the audio is not unreasonable to ask.

The different formats you could probably script ffmpeg to do it automatically for you.

Remember, this guy gave you this software for free.

Yeah but spend an extra afternoon making it user friendly. I don’t give a fuck how autistic you are, surely you realise there’s other people at the end of your project. Anything less is just lazy.

If he wants a UI sure, sounds like a fun project. Every dev I’ve ever worked with though is a lazy fuck who does the bare minimum to get the project barely functioning at spec. You have to bully them to do any extra work outside of the scope. I’m not surprised this guy is the same.

The worst thing about those guys is that some of them even have the gall to then go ahead and complain that the "stupid" masses are not using their superior software. Just look at Linux, I'm pretty sure a lot more people would be using Mint if you didn't have to fuck around with the command prompt every time you want to install something.
