I will admit that people of that nature do exist and start shit over drunken stupid things, or whatever, but I've only seen a few fights personally.

The irony is that one doesn't fight as well when drunk, even if the motivation is there.

That's proper violence. Casual violence is just something to do when you're bored and hammered. Binge drinking is the main cause. There are a seriously huge amount of people here who drink 12+ pints on a Friday and Saturday night. That's just the beer mind you. They'll also be bombing half of those with Jaegermiester.

Not that they need it. Beer (as in proper beer, none of that Euro-Scheiße or American crap) is generally around 5% per pint.

I don't drink Miller Genuine Draft or Bud Light or any of those cheap, shitty beers. I'm not sure what brands you guys have there, but I tend to go for anything dark.

In my neck of the woods there's quite a lot of choice as there are a lot of real ale brewers in the area and the best ones in Yorkshire are very nearby.

We get a lot of the cheap shitty beers, but a lot of the time they'll have real ales on pump too. I personally prefer bitters, stouts and really dark beers myself.

Most of us prefer Bud Light, Old Style, Miller Genuine Draft, and other cheap shit.
