What you got to understand is that elon has no ideology, none at all, he "believes" what he has to believe right now to make business. For the past 15 years being all about the environment was a pretense to sell his overpriced cars and get more free money from governments all over the planet to do so. As the consequences of greenwashing and inflation from printing money to support, among other stupid unprofitable grifts, this stuff, and with the pendulum swift from limo socialist chic to seminationalistic new right he's now pretending to be of the later to keep the money flowing in.

And he was doing just fine until he decided to die on jeet hill, apparently he thought that just like left-liberal types were willing to pretend for years that teslas were environmentally friendly despite all the crap behind the batteries the right would also look the other way towards his anti-nationalistic globalization approach to hiring and keep clapping while he imported indians by the truckload.

Still, I'm genuinely baffled by how someone as childish, petty, and seemingly clueless as him became a billionaire. Could he just be a frontman for others who are truly in charge? I seriously question whether Tesla's valuation is overinflated or if he's merely a figurehead facilitating government-backed projects through SpaceX.

I once thought that even if he wasn’t a genius engineer, he must have strong leadership or interpersonal skills. However, considering his now well-known autism and apparent lack of people skills, I now doubt even that.

If he isn’t a genius engineer, a good leader, or someone with strong people skills, then how did he become this powerful? What exactly is his contribution to his companies' success? He is an overgrown child in every sense.

While he's extremely fortunate to have been born wealthy and that paypal succeeded in spite of him, he is also very good at gaming the system, corporate politics, and taking advantage of the ignorant, which also leads me to believe he isn't even autistic. Just another narcissist with a drug habit more than likely.

The whole 'faking his gaming cred' thing really highlights how Musk lies for no fucking reason, he could've just come out and said that he plays videogames and that he isn't the best at them or be more honest and say that he sucks at them, had he picked the latter option he would've been seen a bit more relatable and humble. One overlooked aspect of the game scandal: I’ve never played Path of Exile, but from the commentary, it seems that reaching the level he was at and being on the leaderboard requires having no life outside the game and playing it daily for at least 14-15 hours.
