I think it's important to notice the silence from Trump and Vance on Elon's current debacle. They have said absolutely nothing. This to me says they are laying back and watching, and once the Christmas break is over Elon will find himself being sidelined in Mar-A-Lago and his influence greatly diminished.

I sure hope so. It's something that I think about more or less every day as someone who does work that is vulnerable to H1Bs and outsourcing. I'm optimistic that the younger generations will have a persistent memory on this particular issue as getting by is now becoming harder each year. The boomers will probably forget it quickly though and will need to be reminded.
