genuinely interested to see how this turns out. while it is shady that journoscum had to refresh to catch the ads they wanted, xitter isn't denying that they also do organically show up in some cases. i'm unsure how much the frequency would matter to big advertisers like apple versus the fact it happens at all.

free speech and ad revenue don't mesh well. most advertisers are picky about where their shit shows up and have an interest in it not appearing next to posts praising nazis.

Elon is part of the establishment, and I think some parts of the establishment tries to normalize the societal situation somewhat. The current day tranny/activist/diversity hire paradigm is a luxury they won't be able to afford forever.

Like how absurd is that you have to have mentally ill people who would gladly leak your source code or trade secrets just because somebody said mean words to them. You can't even remove them currently because the NGO-Media complex is here to back up these people.

The man won, ridiculously won. I'll keep kicking myself for not taking Tesla Motors seriously. I never would have imagined that those luxury cars (albeit the cheapest Tesla model) would become common among Uber Drivers but last week I needed a ride and the Tesla was driven by a FOB Greek.

But enough feeling sorry for myself. The point is the man has a reported 240 Billion Net Worth. He theoretically lose could 239 Billion and he'd still be able to leave his IVF Children enough money that they'd never have to work a day in their lives.

So what's left to do? The same thing Bill Gates does, the same thing Warren Buffet does, the same thing Andrew Carnagie did over 100 years ago. Be able to pull on the wheel that controls the world and change history. People thought Elon was an idiot to buy Twitter, it wasn't. It is an insanely influential website and Zuckerberg's Threads failed like every other pretender. And now I witness Elon Derangement Syndrome dummies thinking it's a huge win that Apple stop ads. Apple doesn't need twitter ads, Apple can make a fart and the world pays attention.

Elon damn well knew he'd create uproar by calling that jew tweet "absolute truth." He doesn't care. Do any of us actually care? Elon is just like Trump at this point, he gets a tingle every time he sees himself on TV. Love him, hate him, we're most likely stuck with him for another 40 years.

Post is getting long but I love how no one is bothered by how all the Car Manufacturers are switching to Tesla Charging. The son of a gun is going to have his own monopoly on energy transfer. Insanely brilliant. He's become Rudolph Randall Hearst and John D. Rockefeller rolled into one.

Advertisers don't actually care about this because normal people don't care about this. If I see Johnny McRetard on twitter posting dumbshit political takes, and then I see an ad for a sandwich shop nearby, I'm not going to refuse to buy those sandwiches. Seriously -- who thinks like this? No one.

What advertisers are afraid of is nefarious groups like the ADL sneaking up and saying "boy, it would be a shame if something happened to your reputation and you got smeared as an anti-semitic company." Because that's the kind of thing that actually damages profits, and therefore it's what's actually going on here.

you're right, i should've phrased it better.

they do not care because of actual convictions or a moral agenda. they care for monetary reasons, which are the same reasons we see 'rainbow capitalism' in western markets every year, while the ads run in china and the middle east lack any of that. disney sneaking in le ebic lesbian kiss then cutting it from the china release, etc. edit: inverse is true, too, like anheuser busch dropping mulvaney and the trans shit the moment it became obvious it killed their brand and sales.

they've got a department of people who decide what would make them the most money and what would cost them money. as it stands now, for reasons you've mentioned, an apple ad popping up next to a post praising nazis is, what the zoomers would call, "a bad look."

but the point still stands. big advertisers in the west know who they answer to. it's a large part of why the internet has become so sanitized the past decade or more.

Greenblatt (ADL) - In reference to Elon stating that the Palestinian catchphrase "From The River To The Sea..." is genocidal. Trying to avoid going full :politisperg:but the chant simply is calling for a One-State Solution of Palestine. Whether that means the Jews would be deported back to Europe or just shoah'd well they love to keep debating over that. I think we can all agree these two groups will never happily live in one nation.

Benji Shapiro - Ben makes a defense for Elon Musk's "absolute truth" tweet, explaining that Musk was calling out left wing groups specifically the ADL. He shows tweets from Musk calling out the ADL which I can't seem to find in Elon's timeline but I'm probably being retarded. But anyway the gist of it is Elon is not an antisemite he just hates ADL, Soros, and BlackRock.

This is what really is utterly brilliant about Musk's powerplay of getting Twitter. He's making it clear that if your political messaging is objectionable to him he's going to fuck with you like he's apparently going to do to Media Matters. Ben Shapiro was the biggest Never-Trump political e-grifter and he runs to defend Elon. ADL pretty much runs the MSM's propaganda on Racial Social Justice and they have to kiss the ring.

It has never been about "Free Speech." Elon Musk has the control to move the lens of political perspective. That is power.
