Racing fuel was part of the bomb that the perpetrators of the OKC bombing used. I wonder if they were trying to do something similar but didn't do their homework or couldn't get any of the same materials because they're now regulated in the US for that exact reason and went for the closest legal alternative that was widely available because of the holidays, a bunch of fireworks and gas cans along with the fuel. Like some people pointed out as well, they used a laughably small amount of explosives for what they probably hoped to achieve, if they were hoping to cause devastation to the scale of OKC. McVeigh had literal hundreds of pounds of material and high grade mining charges. I hope this retard can see from the afterlife that they half assed it and now Elon Musk gets an opportunity to shill over their death.

It’s sort of slats that fit into a track on both sides, which then retracts a bit like a roller door. It’s not super tough but you can (carefully) stand on it.

As you can see, when it’s closed the rear cab window is kind of inside the enclosed space, any other pickup and the bomber probably wouldn’t have been killed.

This doesn't even qualify as a "bomb" IMHO. Elontards are claiming that this was a bomb and that the mighty cybertruck was able to withstand the force of the bomb.

It's just cans of gas and fireworks and sure if you have an entire warehouse filled with them it will sure as fuck go boom but this is a haphazard operation and someone just filled a trunk with random shit.

I don't think Elontards and most people get the point here though: even if this attack was technically a failure it sent a post-Luigi message that not only are people angry but that the people at the top are highly vulnerable.

Just imagine if someone half competent had done this instead? And knew whatever CEO would be there?

The image of the flaming cybertruck right under the Trump logo is extremely powerful and very likely to inspire copycats and fan the flames further.

Calling this or trying to quantify it as an actual bomb or attack is cope IMHO. It's very clearly a loud message against "the establishment" and Elon is coping super hard by going on about how strong the cybertruck is while anyone with a brain understands that there's a lot of angry people out there and it's trivial to do shit like this and it's trivial to do it way more effectively.
