I felt the support he had was always more limited, even when he was on the other side, people still hated him and found him extremely obnoxious. Not even Africa wants to deal with him since he's that obnoxious to be around. Both the left and right hate him for being that obnoxious and flipflopping, but even the people who don't care and are oblivious to politics despise him.
