If you're not into AI, Anthropic's Claude models are basically God's gift to mankind and X's Grok can awkwardly make titties jiggle. There's no comparison in terms of usefulness. Grok is what anti-AI people think AI is and Claude is the real thing.

Won't work. You can't step down from Claude. It's hard to describe but it's not like going down from a powerful tool to a less powerful tool, in a linear way like going from 8 cylinders on a work truck to 6 cylinders. Those kind of downgrades can be worked around or made up for. It's like swapping out your reliable office secretary for a guy who sometimes makes shit up and randomly makes inappropriate statements about their coworker's ass. It's a complex system that is inherently less useful and less reliable. Claude almost never hallucinates.

Just because it won’t work doesn’t mean he won’t try. Watch as all his minions step in line about how superior Grok is because it’s their girlfriend.

He’s been trying it with Waymo, who have been able to roll out FSD before Tesla. He loves to shit on actual innovators because he’s a phony.
 
I don’t know if anyone has talked about Grok as a serious AI competitor for about a year now. xAI’s usefulness ceased when they could no longer scrape various government databases.

I agree about Anthropic’s coding ability. I have had Claude hallucinate and create unoptimized code but it has improved over leaps and bounds in the last year or so. Iron sharpens iron between Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini and each new version seems to improve significantly. Grok is just a retard playing in the sandbox by comparison.

ironically enough their "muh guardrails" bullshit is a big reason why the DoD is mad at them. they also limited conversations and hid it from people. the Long Conversation Reminders or LCR was a big deal in the claude community last summer. the 4.6 models are also their most censored "safe" version and Anthropic acting like 'the good guys' just feels very skeevy.

Same with his hatred towards Sam Altman. Elon's a toddler when he can't get his way. I'm surprised that there are still investors holding the bag for him. I wouldn't invest in an AI product that is mostly known for making porn and being racist, and I certainly wouldn't if the head of the project crashes out every time a competitor does better than him.

I find Grok better for training AI to do creative tasks, but Claude isn't made for that. As a programming and logical tool Claude is the best and by far.

This was fake btw. Musk or possibly his servants spread 'haha he is so autistic and cringe he would never get invited to a place like that' and it was such a funny story everyone lapped it up. Fake email. The published files to the extent they cover that issue show he was welcomed there and at least on one occasion was trying to jam an island visit into a fairly cramped schedule
