Elon Told Americans They're Too Stupid And Lazy To Hire. It Did Not Go Over Well!

How did you spend Christmas Day? Well, if you are anything like Elon Musk, and you probably are not, you spent it telling the very people who elected you President of the United States that they are just too stupid, lazy, and genetically inferior to work for you.

“There is a permanent shortage of excellent engineering talent. It is the fundamental limiting factor in Silicon Valley,” Musk posted on his own personal social network — a sentiment quickly echoed by frequent Xitter user Mario Nawfal, who announced that the US semiconductor industry alone needs over 160,000 engineers by 2032, and that the AI industry needs a whole bunch as well, and that they ought to be fueled in part by (dun dun duuuuun) streamlining high-skilled immigration.

Musk responded:
No, we need more like double that number yesterday! The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low. Think of this like a pro sports team: if you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be. That enables the whole TEAM to win.
This … did not go over well, incurring anger from racists outraged at the very idea of Musk hiring “more brown people” instead of white people.
  • “Everyone in America knows that whites are discriminated against and are not even considered for these jobs.” — USBornNRaised
  • “This is disgraceful. We are worried about native born Americans. If you continue pushing ideals that dilute our culture, you will become one of the most hated men in America.” — DMichaelTripi
  • “I’m white and more talented in IT than most Indians I consult for. They won’t hire me FT because I’m not brown. Acknowledge their racism and do something about it.” — Rizz346
  • “This is so disappointing. America first means Americans first. H1B visas are being horribly abused by big corporations. Your hiring departments aren’t showing you applicants from the US who happen to be white. Guaranteed.” — MelaniM
  • “the number of white men qualified for these jobs, but that aren’t being hired for these jobs, is insane” — girlymisogynist
So weird how these people can all comprehend how structural racism works when they imagine it happening to white people!

Then there were those folks who just don’t understand why he doesn’t train Americans to work at his businesses instead. Like this guy …
“There are over 330 million people in America. Surely, there must be enough among them to build your ultimate team? Why would you deny real Americans that opportunity by bringing foreigners here?”
To whom Elon responded:
“Your understanding of the situation is upside-down and backwards. OF COURSE my companies and I would prefer to hire Americans and we DO, as that is MUCH easier than going through the incredibly painful and slow work visa process. HOWEVER, there is a dire shortage of extremely talented and motivated engineers in America. This is not about handing out opportunities from some magical hat. You don’t get it. This is blindingly obvious when looking at NBA teams, as the physical differences are so obvious to see. However, the MENTAL differences between humans are FAR bigger than the physical differences!!”
I think my favorite thing about this is the fact that he’s very obviously gone so far down the scientific racism rabbit hole that he’s now using it to determine that white Americans are mentally inferior to workers from Asia. We’ve seen hardcore racists, for years, do this whole dance of “We’re not white supremacists for believing that white people are smarter than Black people, because we also believe that Asian people are smarter than white people, so there!” Elon clearly didn’t get the “We don’t actually mean this, we just want everyone to agree that we are smarter than Black people!” memo.

Musk’s DOGE pal Vivek Ramaswamy tried to ameliorate the situation by telling the angry villagers that it wasn’t necessarily their IQ or genetics that were the problem, but their entire culture. You know, the “culture” they’re obsessed with keeping pure from the influence of brown immigrants?
The reason top tech companies often hire foreign-born & first-generation engineers over “native” Americans isn’t because of an innate American IQ deficit (a lazy & wrong explanation). A key part of it comes down to the c-word: culture. Tough questions demand tough answers & if we’re really serious about fixing the problem, we have to confront the TRUTH:

Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG. A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian, will not produce the best engineers.

A culture that venerates Cory from “Boy Meets World,” or Zach & Slater over Screech in “Saved by the Bell,” or ‘Stefan’ over Steve Urkel in “Family Matters,” will not produce the best engineers. […]
More movies like Whiplash, fewer reruns of “Friends.” More math tutoring, fewer sleepovers. More weekend science competitions, fewer Saturday morning cartoons. More books, less TV. More creating, less “chillin.” More extracurriculars, less “hanging out at the mall.”
What year is this again?

Now, keep in mind that Republicans have just spent the better part of the last two decades losing their absolute shit over the slightest suggestion they should listen to smart people over their own personal guts when it comes to things like vaccines, global warming, the age of the earth (and, for some, the shape of the earth).

It didn’t go over well.

And soon enough, all of MAGA began to implode. In one corner, you had Elon, Ramaswamy and David Sacks (who was surprised to discover that MAGA hates legal brown H1B visa immigrants as much as they hate brown undocumented immigrants); in the other you had Mike Cernovich and Ian Miles Cheong (who isn’t even an American); and Laura Loomer, Jack Posobiec and Ann Coulter … sometimes actually making some decent points. Or, you know, points that would be decent were they not motivated entirely by racism and xenophobia.
14167DD3-92EE-4B73-A538-09880956E5E6.jpeg
“Nobody can afford to live off of $70,000 a year in today’s America,” Loomer added. “Stop crying about declining birth rates when you want us to live like a bunch of welfare queens. Can’t have a family and keep having more kids while making $70,000 a year and also working 80 hours a week. You can make more money working 40 hours a week and overtime at McDonald’s each year.”

“American workers can leave a company. Imported H1B workers can't. Tech wants indentured servants, not ‘high-skilled,’” Coulter said.

“Today was the day we found out who is getting rich by screwing over the American worker,” wrote Posobiec.

Loomer kept Loomering, though, and eventually Musk called her a troll and took away her blue check, her Premium Xitter subscription, and her subscribers. You know, because of how he bought the site to preserve free speech (for people who praise him and Trump, also for those who like to use racial slurs in their every day conversations).

“Telling the truth isn't trolling,” responded Loomer, who once chained herself to Twitter headquarters after getting banned. “Read the room! You bought your way into MAGA 5 minutes ago after Trump almost had his head blown off in Butler. Remember when you voted for Biden and propped up Ron DeSantis and you said Trump was too old? We all know you only donated your money so you could influence immigration policy and protect your buddy Xi JinPing.”

The weirdest thing about all of this is that they’re all so, so close to getting it in certain ways, while also still completely not getting it. Because it is entirely possible to not be racist against immigrants and to support American workers (and all workers, actually) having jobs that pay fair wages — and even enjoying our popular culture, while also reading books.

There are people who do all of those things. There are even politicians who support all of those things. They’re just not Republicans.

There was a time when some leftists were against this type of immigration bc it was pretty much slavery with another name. Once the left got taken over by college liberals, they started to advocate for their cheap servants cleaning their toilets.
One of my favorite twitter posts during this whole immigration debacle is some weirdo doing a; "Hahahah MAGA tards, you know, without immigrants, you'll actually have to mow your own lawn and clean your own house." Like nigga, do you think everyone in the USA has a fucking dedicated staff? And what makes it truly silly, if you think about it for 5 seconds, is that they love to boast how liberals are more educated and thus are more economically free. It's not MAGA tards using illegals as gardeners in home childcare and other shit, it's all the educated and socially aware liberals doing that shit.

The problem isn't glorifying the jock and ignoring the nerd, in fact I'd say the problem is quite the opposite right now, especially with America in its health crisis it's currently having.
I'd say we have an intellectual brain drain as well. I have told each and every one of the kids I work with exactly how far they are from the end user of the things they produce.

All of these kids went to good schools, but most of them weren't in the military or in some sort of apprenticeship, and that goes back to when I was in school, 25 years ago, when the provost at Freshman Orientation got up in front of the new students and said that the school was doing everything it could to facilitate students because of this thing called Test Anxiety Syndrome.

Basically: it became the college's job to pass as many students as possible. Not treat students like life is going to be a series of tests of the things you learn at this school, and you have to learn not to be anxious over them. If you are, college (and a career) may not be right for you.

I saw at the time that mine was the first generation to have its own self-esteem movement. That your feelings were more important than learning things. That already felt bad, but I was feeling the effects of Affirmative Action a couple of years later when a rather surly, middle-aged Arab in one of my classes cursed me out in front of the whole class because I wasn't interested in explaining the lab (which he should have been prepared for) to him. His only punishment was having to apologize to me, and he went on back to class being the same ill-reputed asshole he always was, since I knew he wasn't the only person he was trying to scrounge off. So much for academic excellence when you care more about looking bad over kicking out a Middle Eastern asshole than appropriately punishing him for verbal abuse.

All that to get back to my original point: we're now a culture that values credentials, status and metrics over knowing things (which is why we don't hold kids back anymore). Plenty of kids I know are hobbyists in their spare time, so they generally know what they're doing, but what they don't know is how what they know fits into the real world (because the education system doesn't seem to care about real-world experience), and I have to point it out to them. I don't blame them. I help them along the best I can, based on cultivating that real-world experience that I have and that they don't.

But it's hard to face the world knowing that, after taking a few college courses over the years even after getting a Master's, classes are a whole lot of box-checking. No teachers are allowed to say that if you ever want to be happy and successful, your career is your life, part of your soul. You don't have to work 80 hours a week, but your passion for it should exceed 40. We don't encourage that. And that will eventually lead to other countries eating our lunch because they cultivated a landscape of actually knowing things being important for cultural dominance.

Regarding cliques and fitness, our culture has become so fractured that gym cultures have varying amounts of broscience elements. For every stupid and dangerous one like Crossfit or juicing, there are others that can work for your body type, metabolism and composition. The average person has so many choices he has nowhere to start. It doesn't help that you can be conditioned to associate exercise with pain or punishment, instead of health, improvement, or becoming a more well-rounded person. There'll never be an 80's style culture that won't be maxXxXed out and gay until our approach to fitness as a whole changes.

Labels like jock and nerd are also gay and should be done away with. One of the reasons we have pankekshual double-fried si/sin/sum systems is that people are taught that labels define who you really are as a person, when all they do is box you in. I’ve really come around to classical education recently because it’s a thorough kind of education. It encourages a broader understanding of the world and what you can be relative to it. Yes, the mechanical parts of society that want people to just be plug-and-play widgets don’t want that. But that's not what people really are. They’re not LEGOs, they’re not meat computers. Treating them as such doesn’t just create podpeople, it destroys them in the process. Their bodies degrade, their minds degrade, their spirits degrade, they turn from people to parodies of their former selves. They break down because they’re not machines.

People like Elon do not see this, nor do they care. All they care about is line go up, regardless of what comes after.

In other words, sitcoms are gay and Vivek is also gay for basing his worldview on them.

I'm not arguing against this, I just, I can probably write a 10-20 page thesis on why America is failing; the problem is the causes are various and it'll take effort, and not that I'm against effort, but I'm not gonna write a war and peace on a shit-posting website, at least not in response to an article. The biggest obstacle to getting a solution is how we'd have to rollback decades of DEI/progressive laws and shit that favor the less fortunate, to include several Supreme Court cases like Griggs vs Duke Power.

The country is being smothered in the crib, and being told "you're not good/smart/strong enough so we need to replace you." We demand education credentials, then make getting them a massive cost and time commitment while devaluing them at the same time; no one being allowed to fail along with schools getting rid of GPA/SAT requirements. Sure you may think you're doing a good thing by letting the less privileged in, because if they struggle in K-12, they're gonna suffer under a proper college course load, but schools (in California at least) are looking into doing that to boost diversity. And most colleges are packed to the gills with liberal arts, while the hard math, chemistry, engineering, etc fields do have dedicated people, but are a minority of the people who get college paper to their name; and depending on where you go, most of those fields are foreigners, and the school plays a part in that as they like foreign students, not because they're more dedicated or smarter or whatever, they pay more for tuition, and give them a sense of prestiege (UC Irvine's Computer Science program for example).

Again, I'm not trying to write a proper paper, APA style, and all that; but a lot of our problems are self-inflicted and we hurt ourselves to our own detriment, and then get people telling us we don't measure up. Well they have the President's ear, and instead of saying "Here's how we can get America back on track," they just want to import scabs. And I'm not saying fixing everything will be easy; even if Trump had a solid 8 years straight and minimal obstruction from Congress and the Judiciary, it'll take a lot of time and effort to unfuck everything our problems are built on. I do believe it can be done, you just have to be willing to strong arm most of the problems into compliance, because they're not gonna do it themselves.

NASA sent men to the moon (with help from some black ladies) during the 60s when jock and nerd dicotomies were probably at their height. we invented the computer, the internet, the nuke, the turbocharged engine and delicious chef boy ardee up to the 2010s. innovation from the 2010s onward has been limited if not derivative like the smartphone, around the time schools tried to social engineer kids away from the jock - nerd shit (thanks to school shooters).

we're still decades away from hydrogen powered cars, solar and wind are busts. there hasn't been a life changing technology like radio, technology or the cotton gin since. Theranos would've changed the world but it turned out to be a scam, bitcoin is still niche. it has fuck all to do with pop culture or health. i dont know what's causing the decline but its happening.
Short sighted implementation of Culture war idpol shit being used to keep everyone in the crab bucket is a big factor, more than likely. They've got it down to a science the last over adecade now. We've been running off the same stagnant script since the shit that brought down OWS. Now the BLACK part of the black women that helped with the space program becomes their only defining feature instead of their actual hard work in media talk about them as a good example, or the shit with the lewis latimer guy that didn't invent lightbulbs or the filament , despite the unironic "educational" psa's claiming that he did and then saying there were black people in places black people clearly weren't even in in history. Latimer'sactual fucking achievements completely swept under the rug because politics brained fuckers think it's less racist to make shit up about a guy who actually had some accomplishments that weren't "big enough" for their narrative of white people discrediting blacks. Couple that with turning everything into a money funnel dump and making education borderline predatory levels against actual success by walling off everything behind ever increasing paywalls and sub services save for some people who get it for free it creates this kind of void of ignorance and racism disguised as "anti-racism" and intelligence.

Now this is just one factor probably adding to the decline but it's a big one on top of people trying to tie basic concepts like the concept of eductation itself to Party politics shit. "oh it's left wing because the democratic party funded schools!" Bitch you aren't even going to get to voting till after you're educated most of the time! Literally every career politician the last several decades went to some fucking shitty expensive prestige college none of us plebs got to even touch. but we're supposed to ignore that because reasons.

we're still decades away from hydrogen powered cars
Hydrogen is a meme. It takes more energy to extract the hydrogen than just using the hydrocarbons from which hydrogen is stripped. Crude oil is a gift from God because you get more energy out than it takes to extract and refine it.

It's worse than that. Even people who put some effort to pass and pass "fairly" shouldn't be in college in first place because passing grades ain't an indicative of intelligence. You can be a 100IQ person and get good grades and still become a mediocre professional who has no idea what to do when something goes wrong in your field.

Tech bros like Elon or Vivek believe that education makes you smart. That's a thing they have in common with the average libtard progressive, believe that reading and getting a diploma is what makes a person intelligent instead of inherited genes. That's why they think s Bombay U diploma and some training is enough, aside from being cheaper.

No one but the terminally online seething alt-right and wokeshit brigade gives a fuck about any of this lol

It's all so blatantly coping from the wokeshit troll clique - OHMAGERD MAGA DESTROYING ITSELF LISTEN TO US LISTEN TO US LISTEN TO USSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS - and power jockeying from the powerless internet alt-right grifter clique - OHMAGERD TECH BROS SHOWING THEIR TROO COLORS TRYING TO PERVERT MAGA LISTEN TO US LISTEN TO US LISTEN TO USSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

"Skilled Engineer" and "Indian" should never be used in the same sentence. I don't know anyone that has had positive experience working with Indians or even worse, people living/working in India. They end up wasting your time and you will have to spend time doing their work anyway.

Pretty much everyone agrees our education system can be improved, but importing diploma mill graduates for high skill tech work is retarded. Anyone that has gotten a degree from an American university is more qualified than any paljeet from India.
