Its a very interesting read, and gives a good insight into some of the craziness that goes on in a socialist country.

Lauri Vahtre’s book is an excellent guide to the Soviet reality, combining descriptions of everyday life with an analysis of Soviet ideologies, foreign and security policies. Vahtre’s book is especially useful for the people who still dream of building a paradise on earth. Such attempts have always ended in the same way – with massive bloodshed.

Actually it's a pretty interesting read. I like his rebuttal of Communism's fundamental, it's a bit basic but put together well enough for the simple-minded
