Asians usually don't like being lumped in with other Asians because they're racist against them. It seems like every Asian country is full of people who hate everyone from every other Asian country.

Totally agree. Just try asking a Chinese about Japanese, or a Cambogian about Vietnamites. Or South Koreans about North Koreans.
Asians are a lot more racists than Americans and Europeans, and unlike them their culture and society doesn't condemn racism nowadays.

Same here. I know a lot of Filipinos especially ones that live in the Phillipines currently, and almost all of them really fucking hate the chinese.

Whenever people on Tumblr complain about a lack of Asian representation in film, I just think of how much different Asian countries hate each other and it's like, that's why, guys.

They'd rather look at white people than the wrong kind of Asian, because they're not in America and don't have any kind of solidarity.

I've brought this up before, but the fallout on Tumblr of the Boston Marathon Bombings was a clusterfuck for precisely that reason.

It was being blamed on the bombers being entitled white males instead of being Islamic terrorists, and lots of getting offended that anybody would even suggest that Islam had anything to do with it.

We would see this again in the Orlando Pulse shooting, except the shooter wasn't white, but white people were still at fault somehow.
