Encounters With SJWs/Tumblristas Offline or In Unusual Communities

Thank God I can rarely run into these type of people (I already have good of share of conservatives around me, so it's even smaller chance of wild SJW appearing), only one girl I personally know is one who could fall into this category and guess what?

She's on Tumblr almost whole time. :V

I remember this teacher I had in middle school who would probably be considered a SJW by today's standards. She hated the show Married With Children since it portrayed women as sleazy and found the term, "chicks" disgusting since it compared women to cute, fuzzy, weak baby animals. Her biggest, most SJW moment came when she started ranting how white, non-Jewish people should be locked up in their own concentration camps for all the oppression they've caused. (Yes, she was white herself.) The kids kept quiet, probably in fear of getting in trouble, but even as a kid I was so tempted to ask if she'd also be thrown in as well. And making a point that even white Christians were tossed to the lions. Then again I had a hair-trigger temper as a kid so that would be a risk if we ended up debating. Still I have to wonder what would've happened.

Kinda reminds me of my Year 10 English teacher, she was a Reverend, married to a chief of an African Tribe and she kept harping on about how people should only be nice to each other and how colonialism was the devil (she was a posh white woman, so her ancestors likely benefited greatly from it!). Any form of slightly off-colour humour would trigger her.

My Sixth form English teacher, a self confessed feminist and lefty extraordinaire however, was fucking cool.

My Social Studies teacher from 11th grade said to my class (in a predominately white high school) once that she wouldn't blame black people for treating white people like shit because of racism in the 50's. That was after she taught us about the Civil Rights Movement.

Apparently, your teacher wasn't very smart, because isn't married with children supposed to be a commentary or something? Aren't all the family members deplorable? You can make the same arguments today with It's Always Sunny.

I always saw MWC as a satire myself. I remember that teacher also had issues with being alone as a kid and had to fight it all her life.

Funny story here...

A friend of mine was in a class with someone he called "Tumblr incarnate" - she would go into a fit when anyone said anything even vaguely offensive.

When someone used the term "butthurt," she went into a rage, calling the term an analogy to rape and dubbing the guy a "fucking asshole."

To which my friend replied: "Isn't 'fucking asshole' also an analogy to rape?"

She shut up for the rest of the class.

I once made a testicle joke with a guy friend at college and we were laughing like dumb idiots. Then this huuuge lady at the table right next to us shouted at me while hardcore rolling her eyes (oh man it was weird) "You don't have to degrade yourself to sex jokes to make MEN like you!" We just sorta shut up- it was creepy.

Has anybody else that went to college had a "presentation" where you are basically told that you have to apologize if you ever offend somebody in the future? (Even if you are "in the right" and they and just being whiny, also this was for the whole class) I had something like that the other day, I'm just starting college so I don't know how normal this is, but a gay dude (he is now my friend actually) in my class got offended when he kept shooting the word "faggot" to, quote "prove a point" and ironically he refused to apologize
It was really weird and a little crazy

should have told her that y'all don't care and that the Fun Police was here to ruin the day.

Never had a presentation like that in all my 4 years at college. That sounds truly bizarre.
