Ok so our admin named Paperclip/Aediot who traffics child porn tried to sell the site to his deep web friend and he was dethroned.

He then tried to pretend to be an SJW and complained to the webhost that ED's sense of humor is bigoted and breaks the TOS.
You are hosting a website http://encyclopediadramatica.xyz/ that is full of racist, anti-semitic, misogynistic materials and other hate speech, including glorifying school shootings and glorifying Nazism In addition it is an attack site, even now the home page has a photoshopped obscene image of the previous site owner. I have taken the liberty of reporting this site to the Anti-Defamation League, Black Lives Matter movement, CAIR and others. I believe this site violates your terms of service and should be deleted. ED's "owner" Jacob Stellmach (AEdiot / paperclip) decided he was going to sell the site to darknet dweebs. Also he tried to enlist one of ED's guys in a criminal conspiracy involving identity theft and credit card fraud;

Site Issues - EDF VI : Return of the Lulz

As we are working on the wiki, the site may come off and on. None of this should be long. Today we have an issue, I bought an extra 100gb of space. But that was not accessible to the folder they told me it would be. So by uploading a shit ton of images it caused the site to take a shit...

In addition, he could not keep the site up longer than a week. So naturally, he has followed the tradition of other disgraced SysOps and has been dethroned.

He is still trying to get his wiki back up, that nobody will use except to scrap data from. Because nobody trusts him. In the meantime a group of Admins are now running the show on a new server;

The wiki has seen better days. We compiled it from old ( 2018 ) backups. We are still working on it, as well as a ton of missing images. It's in better hands.

The community is on life-support. But I can promise you, new management will ensure backups (the backups AEdiot promised were apparently only given to his anonymous friends, so we have to start over).

There is no owner now, just a Commission running the show. Hopefully, they can pull ED from the current nose dive.

We do not plan on shutting anything down, even if section 230 is repealed. Nobody owns the site in the first place. Second, everyone is responsible for the content they post themselves. Third, we don't give a shit.

Hope to be up longer than a month, and see you there.
 
Like it or not, ED is a piece of internet history. But the drama, always the drama.

That was under Zaiger, there currently is Zero Ads (that will probably change but they will be banner / non-intrusive).
 
When Girlvinyl sold out and killed ED, she must've put a curse on the site that anyone who dares resurrect ED is cursed to become a lolcow. I'd love to see a chronology of the owners of ED and see where they are now.

Sibin, who gave it to Conrad wasn't bad. We've also had SysOps like Garret and E "retire".

But Zaiger, Conrad, and AEdiot really fucked us over.

How many owners were there anyway? I lost track of the site in the post-Zaiger era. All I remember was Girlvinyl, the guy who was v& for hacking (or was he just an admin), and Zaiger.

Sherrod DeHippo might've been fat, but at least she got an actual job after ED and doesn't seem to be in prison, a convicted felon, or insane drug addict so she's doing pretty well I'd say.
