Because a shit ton of old and highly amusing lolcow stuff was forever lost after De Hippo pulled her shit. It's not really important to me now but i was seething back then, when ED got back up for the first time there was already so much missing.

At this rate, ED will run out of clearnet registars to do business with that it's either the darknet or they simply close their doors for good.

Chris-Chan may actually get his wish of ED being taken off the Internet at this rate.

I salute you for your dedication but I hate to be that guy, the way I see it time is not on your side. Old Man Time is what may finally take down and defeat ED and Old Man Time has been the undefeated champion since the dawn of the universe (nothing is forever).

Most of the Internet doesn't even remember ED anymore (or let alone care about it) and eventually you'll run out of clearnet registars to continue hosting on the clearnet at this rate.

We're like the cowboys during the turn of the century, the Old West dies and civilized society takes over. Everyone and everything runs out of time. Death comes for everyone, no one has ever escaped death and this includes websites.
