That was the point, it was more scathing than even this place tends to be. It was what sharty wishes it was: really callous and irreverent shitposting to hide a layer of truth.

ED had it's moments. I'm not gonna lie, I wrote and/or re-edited a couple of articles there back in the day (no, not under this name) as at the time, several of the articles had made me laugh my ass off. I certainly didn't take it seriously (you are a retard if you ever did) but I also was smart enough to not involve myself with any politics surrounding the site.

For a while it was a repository of greatness, but it didn't last and that's a crying shame. the Internet needs an ED imo, almost as much as it needs a Kiwi Farms.

In light of recent events... nah, fuck that

MarioMario turning out to be an underage unfunny cringelord was a bit of a surprise to me, but then again it's nothing new as far as ED is concerned. Just ask Baka. Or don't. I'm pretty sure Jersh personally banned her.

Thing is, eventually Mario wised up and brought value to ED through service. That he attempted to manage a website on his own for as long as he did was respectable. That he knew he couldn't do everything on his own and had to ask for help, there's no shame in that.

Having said that, I'm not entirely ignoring the fact that he is still, in fact, underage. encyclopediadramatica.win will be under new management for the foreseeable future. Mario is still welcome, but his place in ED will have to change until such a time as he is eligible to cross the border into Amerilard, and collect his unlimited free gibs. A regency, if you will.

.win will re-open in a day or two. Steam group's still open for business. We have nothing further to announce at this time.

Or perhaps you idiots could stop playing pretend, come back to the real ED, and actually help us to rebuild shit instead of continuing with running your gay clone of the site?

FYI, we've got the backups from .online and intend to restore the site to where it was. It would definitely be nice if you could help us with adding back everything that's been added since May rather than continuing this stupid tard war.

I've noticed that most people who are outwardly edgy and don't give a fuck about "maturity" are actually nice people when you get to know them.

But never never have I ever met someone who put up that "decent human" idubbz style shit and known them to actually be a good person. The moment you get past their sharade of "morality" they're always shitty people. Snakes who would try life ruination and cancellation on you at a moments notice for updoots on Reddit.

ED still sucked, even back then. ED couldn't balance being hehe edgy and being genuinely informative. The majority of articles were unreadable because of that. I get you're not supposed to take ED seriously, but when it was the only site at the time that had Wikipedia-style articles on niche internet topics, it's just frustrating. I wanted to like ED, but it's overrated and overhyped.
