Or you could add an aeolipile-style steam engine filled with water, a kettle sized piece of bronze metal with steam coming out ontop an iron table with a torch on the ground in a pit burning the bottom of it to create steam that'll blow out the top, with a spindle attached to the inside at the front to power a spinning flywheel using gears with two gears in front of the flywheel, one big one, one small one, two turn two levers going straight with the gears facing sideways for turns maneuvers and a flat iron piece to attach the rods to the iron frame, so you can horizontally spin two double drums facing vertically, held in place with an iron plate. Inbetween the double drums is a spindle. Wrap a hemp or linen belt around the spindle so it'll spin rapidly enough to create friction in the belt, next to the iron post ontop the wood is the bronze spark gap, which is a bronze plate with a springy metal telegraph key and rivet to strike a bronze needle ontop a flat iron pad. Then glassblow a leyden jar with screw-on bronze lid with knob ontop of it for antenna, with nipple on thd inside for thin bronze chain to attach, touching the bronze foil on the inside. The antenna also builds up static more.

Since PCBs were brought up, you can save even more on double layer PCBs if you don't have access to vias by printing out both layers, drilling holes where the vias should be and soldiering a wire to connect the two layers.
