Guy's two thing's:

1) As my Comrade in arms @Smutley said, stuff like "Eat X and Y Phil" has no effect on Phil, in fact at time's it has the opposite effect (and he get's called worse to his face all the time), He points us out to a lot of his new friends saying "Oh yea I'm getting stalked by some evil CIS, Gamergate dude Bro's" to try and gain some sympathy. Phil's a awful human being on many level's and it's hard not to show contempt at times but even as ironic shit posting injokes go we can be better than that, we are funnier than that.

2) Phil likes the idea of us infighting, he relishes the thought of us having such a spat like this because it means we are less likely to pay attention to him, so let's not give this deplorable ambulatory tuba any succour and get on with poking fun at him.

This is something I disagree with, because it's getting moving from legit concern into nitpicking. If people aren't coming to this board because of the thread titles then they wouldn't have come here anyway. Gawker style or not, if they are done right they always carry the pertinent information of what he has posted.

Eh, I don't like the "HIV+ Phil gets HIV+ tattoo from HIV+ Sonju" style titles myself, and if I wasn't personally invested, I would stop coming here. As things are, though, even if I stop posting here, I'd still feel the need to keep an eye on the board so I can do things like get Tweaker word that Phil's coming to Portland with murder in his heart.

If it's done right yeah, Like most rules if its actually funny then it won't be changed. It feels like people are just trying to be funnier than the last guy and it leads to:

The thing is I like the pseudo tabloid thread titles, if they are done right but when they tread over the same old tired ground that's when it get's a little irritating.

Everything in moderation? The occasional "smelly hobo" or "autistic potato" in place of Phil is close to compulsory at this point. New or old, it's more like how when there's more "haha, I'm making fun of Phil" than there is actual title, I roll my eyes and feel dirty for coming here. Really, it's all about ethics in autism reporting.

Prity much, you can have to much of a good thing and while funny some times a joke can war a little bit thin, if you have to reach for the joke it's not funny.
 
WE can't A-Log, but can we at least cheer and throw keggers every time someone kicks his ass?
 
I think the most important thing is to stay fresh and stay funny. There's tons of different and more clever ways to make fun of Phil than just saying "hurf durf raped murdered prison." Seriously, there's so much material with this guy. Why would you handicap yourself and just regurgitate the same old quips that stopped being funny a good nine months ago? We're more clever than that, I'd like to believe.

I made that post because Phil has faked rape stories, what, a dozen times? I figured prison was the one place where the standards are low enough it could actually happen to him. I immediately got half a dozen low effort "Phil is fat and ugly and I'd never rape him" replies. It annoyed me enough that I went into further detail why I thought that. So ironically my effort to counter low effort A-logging with an actual explanation became the prime example of low effort A-logging.
