There are BMI measuring devices that know the difference between muscle and fat.

There are hand-to-hand units that are accurate to within a 4% margin of error, and hand-to-foot units that are even more accurate.

Blubbo can cry Crisco tears all she wants about the "outdated BMI chart", but there's nothing outdated about the electronic BMI measuring devices.

I'll guarantee you that if you measured that manatee with one these devices, you'd see a reading that is truly terrifying.

They have these at my gym, but the staff seems to take a less than confident view of them. Probably because they're all bodyfat% obsessed competitive fitness people and a 4% margin of error is obscene to them. (but like I said, they're dimwits.) anyway, I hope these devices find their way into primary care practices soon so people like this lady can't distort a legitimate criticism into an excuse for being morbidly obese.
