Epic Games Acquires Rocket League Developer Psyonix - Guess They Needed More Games-As-Service

It really is dumb considering the console wars is a myth nowadays.
eh, sort of

but there are still exclusives... and if you don't have a nintendo console, you don't get to play nintendo games full stop
it's better now than it used to be though

Well that's always gonna be a thing with first part games and products they are almost strictly owned by the company and 100 percent promoted on the company's platform. I wouldn't expect to see a Mario game on the PS4 or Xbox One that's kind of how it has always been but in terms of other releases we can no count on them being on almost everything and some are starting to gain some momentum on the Switch (The novelty of having it on the go would probably net more copies being sold accross platform I know some people who own the same games on PC, Ps$ and Switch which they mostly use the Switch on business trips).

Did Gabe Newell rape Tim Sweeny or something? Valve was in talks to get Easy Anti Cheat working on Linux for Steam users. Then Epic bought it a few months back and Linux development stopped.

EasyAntiCheat is a bit of resource hog anyways. Kind of like Denuvo, only it's been more noticeable on my end.

I'm sure the Linux folks will figure out a way to get it working without EAC, lucky bastards.
