It's in reference to "work marsha did", suggesting "soup opera" is a video series she made and never uploaded.
My question is why it takes somebody else volunteering this service to get it done. Erod is a massive nerd, what's stopping him from preserving her work himself.

Look, I know that the point of this site is to laugh at idiots and we tend to read their actions in the most lols-worthy ways possible, but there are some real mental gymnastics being done here to read these tweets as anything other than a recent widower having to go through the tough but necessary process of winnowing down his late spouse’s belongings. If he kept it all, how many posts here would call him a pathetic hoarder? And in regards to why his brother-in-law is backing up this Soup Opera thing, perhaps E-Rod is too busy packing up this apartment to tend to it in a timely manner and would rather have someone else do it instead of having it slip further on the to do pile. That sounds a lot more reasonable than just not giving a fuck.

Today's circle jerking Hollywood would pull something like that. No doubt about that, The Dwayne Johnson in the jungle film genre is a fine example and thousands of asshats honestly think it's hilarious.
 
A newer video from this guy just randomly got recommended to my feed, and I was reminded about him for the first time in years. I'm not gonna watch all of the vid, for obvious reasons, but wow... I didn't even realize he was still putting out content. Didn't he even "quit" being the cock buster buster because his girlfriend died or something?

I watched a few minutes of this one... It wasn't very good.

The biggest thing about erod that I remember is that, like linkara, he has a lot of extra characters... But the only one I actually remember offhand is identical to his main personality.

Erod's characters were "man child" (his default) and (this) "ridiculous caricature of a manchild." There is no difference though...
I'm pretty sure that even linkara realized that your extra characters have to have to be at least slightly different from your regular ones..

He's still doing his thing but the Blockbuster Buster is dead... kinda. He no longer advertises that way and he doesn't "bust" movies like he did before, do the shit with his magic hammer or act like he's got all this fancy tech. That died with his wife. But he still opens his reviews the same way.

The really pathetic part? All these years later he still hasn't cracked 15K subs.

It's not just that but the characters have no actual purpose. They're just... there as a way to show off his acting "talent".

There's the nerd as shown above who is a stereotypical nerd.
There's the cholo who acts like a cholo.
There's the fast talking guy from the 40's.
And there was a short lived cartoon version of Erod.

But none of them served a purpose. They were just "there" taking up space.
