Because it's an extension of their obsession with cartoons on PBS. Most of these autists are obsessed with things like Dragon Tales and Arthur, but Caillou also aired in this same block.

Caillou, the character, is a little shit. He was specifically created that way. In every episode of the show he acts like a little asshole and gets punished for it by his parents because these cartoons are supposed to teach the literal toddlers watching it light lessons like "sharing your toys is nice" and "don't eat your sister's cookies because they are not yours". Basic things.

But people like Erik and his A-Logs lack the ability to introspect needed to extrapolate putting themselves in Caillou's shoes and learning these lessons as if they were Caillou himself. They just see an annoying little brat of a child and misconstrue the show as one to mock and root for him to get punished because they understand in the most basic form that "being mean isn't nice" but cannot apply that lesson to anything else. Caillou isn't meant to be learned from, he's meant to be hated and celebrated when his parents ground him.

Most boomers don't get it either, mainly because they lack the hyperfixation needed to watch it all the way through so they just see a bratty kid. The Classix/Anti-Classix crew are in an unfortunate position where they get the worst of both worlds,where they can see Caillou would be a detestable parasite if he was real but lack the basic perception to realize he isn't real.

Unironically it's very similar to Caillou hate. They don't understand the nuance or reasons behind Trump's loud and aggressive behaviour, all they see is the mean orange man yelling at people for no reason. Combine that with their autistic minds being easily malleable by the majority left wing media entertainment empire constantly shitting on 45-47 and you get them to hate Lil' Donny Drumphft.

Erik has just posted four videos to his YouTube channel, all of them are absolutely ancient reuploads from back when he still had his MGHSHour2 channel. I knew he still had this shit laying around because there's one or two other videos on his current account that are from this period too. I vividly remember there being a whole bunch of those "Little Trick or Treater Productions" things, all of them using some grainy VHS still of what I presume is a girl from a mid to late 80's sitcom or kids show or something.

That's a shocker to me. But it goes to show you that he keeps his videos on some hard drive somewhere in his room. He probably keeps them as treasure like any other pirate.

I had a hunch he probably just has an ancient computer that for all I know is likely still hooked up that has all of this stuff on it. Erik has a ton of old technology (mostly VHS and video-related things) so him getting rid of an old computer doesn't sound like something he would do. He also seems like the type of person who's low functioning enough to not really understand or see a reason to upgrade the computer he uses so he might even still be using the same computer and it's absolutely dying trying to keep up with ~10 years' worth of progressive enshittification of everything. There's no telling.

I'm waiting for him to reupload The Emmy Show. Not the awards, the kid from Dragon Tales. She had a "talk show" where she interviewed Christopher Reeve post-horse accident and all they did was talk about sitting in chairs and walking around school, one of which Reeve isn't able to do. It was bona fide outsider art.

Yeah retards like Taz hate change, and will cling to their childhood memories until the bitter end. I know one YouTube sped who still plays the N64 his now-dead father bought him in 1997 on the TV he got in 1996 hooked up to a VCR from 1996 which he then feeds into his computer from 2002 and somehow uploads it while talking over it with an old microphone that sounds like a rotary phone. It's surreal.

Erik hasn't been up to much lately but he is still around. He posted a couple of videos that I thought were interesting.

It never ceases to amuse me that Erik will say things like "ANIMATION BY: THE TAZMAN" and then any time anything at all happens that would require actual animation it's just replaced with the equivalent of that "SCENE MISSING" gag. I genuinely wonder what goes through his head when he makes shit like this. Like, when the text appears on screen that says "SHE PLAYS WITH THE TOYS FOR 10 MINUTES" does he just fall into a 'tism trance and mentally picture that happening in his head? And he just assumes that's what other people do as well?


He also uploaded another incredibly autistic TV production bumper of the kid from Dragon Tales. I thought this was just a six second static image with no audio. Wait for the jumpscare.


I also found a couple of interesting links that Erik links to straight from his own YouTube page.

He has a massive directory of nearly 3,000 Yahoo Groups (A) for the most autistic fixations you can imagine... and all of the links are dead because the Groups service has been dead for literally half a decade. He also has a directory of dozens of message boards (A) hosted with ProBoards in much of a similar fashion. None of them seem to have any posts whatsoever.

He links to this one specifically on its own via YouTube, but it is locked to guests and I have not registered an account there. (Forum description reads: "A Forum Where All Who Wants To Defend Me, And Classix, Classix Is A Place For Retro Everything No Idiots Allowed")

And finally, our guy has a Facebook page (MGHSHour4). Archive.is seems to be fucking up on Facebook links today, but there really isn't anything to archive. He has 183 friends but the profile has no content aside from this relatively recent photo of Erik that was uploaded in December 2023 that makes him look like a cryptid:

In a world of constant changes, Erik will always remain the same: playing on the floor and eating chips in the car while making the most autistic videos ever imagined.

I wonder what's going to happen when YouTube is eventually replaced by something new? Will he cling on like grim death, uploading his works until the final server shuts down or will he be able to migrate?

Hell I bet he's still running Windows XP or even 98 on his PC, unless someone taking care of him keeps him current but autists like him don't like change.

My man is still maintaining a directory of thousands of links to Yahoo Groups that have literally not existed since Donald Trump was elected a second time Joe Biden was elected. He will ride this shit straight into the ground, I feel like I can say that with 100% certainty. The only thing that seems to nudge him off of platforms is either a literal shutdown of the service (CLG Wiki), getting banned for whatever reason (his original YouTube channel for copyright), or persistent harassment from trolls (FanFiction.net).
