Just had a question posed from a colleague in @LGBT_Courage
How do we fight @ErinInTheMorn misinformation?
My answer might not be that popular:
But here goes.
I worked in a pediatric transgender center for 4 1/2 years. I was not on social media but most of my team was.

the reality: her name was NEVER mentioned at all. Nothing she ever wrote was discussed. Nothing @assignedmedia wrote ever mattered.
What did matter- the only things that broke through to the conversations.

science papers, what the @AmerAcadPeds said, what @wpath published, and maybe not shocking to some but @AbigailShrier book, @LisaLittman1 paper, @jessesingal Atlantic story, and @eanderh and Dr. Laura Edwards-Leepers op-ed. @HormoneHangover on 60 Minutes.
So I hesitate to get in a total kerfuffle over @ErinInTheMorn because as much as we love the Twitter universe I try to keep my stethoscope monitoring the real heart beat. And recently that has been Pamela Paul’s @nytopinion, The Cass Review.
So maybe right now, as we have the scientific evidence so clearly showing us the best pathway forward; AIM HIGH my friends. Write your own op-eds to every paper you know. Send the Cass Review to every journalist you see who writes a piece on the topic. And leave the littles to scramble to find footing in this new reality.
