Surveys say the tranny population is around/less than 1%. The US has 300,000,000-ish people. If my math is correct (X) that means roughly 300,000 people here are trannies. For 260,000 people to have fled teh Natzees that would mean the vast majority of them live in a handful of states and have the financial resources to just up and move across the country. The argument would be that if the illness is with modern society and not the individual, then curing society would be less harmful. You can really only justify these sorts of outrageous hormonal and surgical interventions for a solely psychological condition if troonery is a permanent, intractable feature of humanity. If troonery is just some disorder some people have always had since caveman days, then it's just something we need to tolerate by any means necessary. The argument for gender treatments become much stronger in that case.

Eating disorders are my goto example for exactly that reason. They're really a modern invention of today's society, not something that we just have to tolerate. We don't hand out diet pills to teenagers struggling with body image issues because we do know it's possible to have a society without eating disorders.

Well and when we do observe funky behavior in animals like that, we can tie it more or less straightforwardly to things like hormonal imbalances. The cure for which is (sex appropriate) hormonal supplementation. If a monkey is behaving like a limp dick because he's got monkey ball cancer, the diagnosis is trivial (blood tests) and the treatment is straightforward (testosterone supplementation).

Nothing about troonery has any kind of medical precedent like that. It's pure religion.

Every single trans person is fucking mentally ill.

I mean that you cannot find a trans person without one or more of the following: depression, anxiety, ocd, autism, adhd, bipolar, a personality disorder, or other mental hangup. And even if you find the trans person who is relatively sane, the number of people with ok to poor people skills in the transdom dwarfs any who has decent to good ones.

Many of the people are online for a reason: they are worse at talking in person to people than to someone behind a screen. They form communities with rules that keep them protected from the outside world, people declare rules on how debates should and shouldn't go with emotions and social issues ("None of our existences are up for debate!"), they set up social rules that aren't conductive for debate. Now, online, you'll meet trans people willing to barge in and argue poorly to most things: mention lesbians don't like dick and your twitter is full of picrew and anime avatars telling you you're wrong. If you don't like it, popular consensus already decided you're a bigot, and bigots are so stupid they'll deny trans people's words so trans people have to start calling them names because OBVIOUSLY why bother when they ask you obvious questions ("but if you can't change your sexuality how does this happen?") already answered. And they'll get upvotes and likes because these trans people are right and have an audience who says they're right, just look at their likes! And if you don't agree, to the mods with you for making the community feel unsafe.

Most of the above crumple like tissue paper when talked to IRL. They have anxiety or know that they're not surrounded by fair weather but totally happy to asspat your post friendship communities. They shrink away, claim they were hiding from people who could hurt them IRL, say their depression got the better of them, and so on. It's much less mentally stressful when you don't have people staring at you, wheb you don't hear the voice tone, when no kbe takes up space but you.

Those who don't shy away from trans debate however are usually, um, not the best. Narcissists and Borderlines want a preforming audience with a pantomime villain who is easy to defeat to boost their ego, autistic people can be the most stubbon people on earth even when they're facing the K-2 of evidence piled against them and refuse to back down, overemotional or obsessive people can break down and cry or start slinging insults if they get provoked into a state of self hate by a comment and have to protect themselves, and so on. There's also the troons who came to riot and want a classic heros vs villains battle where the heros murder everyone and everyone cheers.

And a lot believe they're not arguing for a whole group or concept, but for themselves. If a religious person took every comment you said about religion that was negative to heart, they'd be told they need to separate themselves from the church. Trans people aren't like that: trans people ARE trans. There's no separation, the single person is all trans people, the single person's life revolves soley around trans, and every bad thing you say about trans is a bad thing you say about the single person personally. It's like those fandom people who chimp out when you say the show they love isn't that good.

I'm trying to say it's a group of people who collectively cannot communicate with others well by definition. People who can debate are rare and are still pressured by the community not to appear on things as not to be a traitor. Even those who aren't disuade by others know that arguing trans things is much harder than trans people think it is, as cis people just don't understand or had the enlightening trans people did about the father, son, and holy gender. It's an anxious community afraid the sky is falling right fucking now with only days away before Ron DeSatanis and Herr Trump come knocking on their door to drag them to troonschiwtz without warning.

TL;DR mental illness and online circlejerks hellbent on rule control ran by fellow mentally ill people keeps troons from having any real progress.
