This is interesting because I showed my mum some of the wedding photos and she basically made the same observation, while knowing nothing about the "relationship." She thought that Zach ("this one") had put a lot more effort into his appearance and dress and that he looked much more "into" the whole thing.
Another thing that I think someone else has already mentioned is the very strange time of year that they chose. Makes me suspect that Zach had started pushing for the wedding to happen.
